Does the name The Majestics sound familiar? We are the high energy eight-piece R&B/Variety band that started wowing audiences in 1963 playing for proms, and clubs all over Baltimore and surrounding areas. We continue today playing many weddings, private parties, dances and special concert events such as Arts/Harmony Hall in Prince George’s County, The Towsontown Festival, New Freedom, Pa. Fourth of July Celebration, Feet on the Street, Wine festivals to name just a few venues.
The Majestics have performed with such prominent acts as The Temptations, Wilson Pickett, The Coasters and Bo Diddley. Now, in the 21st century bigger and better than ever, with Bill Whitelock on drums, David Kaminkow on keyboards, Paul Mckeown on guitar, Lou Silvia on trombone, Paul Faatz on sax, Eric Heavner on trumpet, Jim Groszer on bass guitar, and featuring the lovely and talented Jane Ashley (formerly known as Virgin recording artist Jane Aire, of Jane Aire and the Belvederes) on vocals.
We provide our own professional sound and lighting. Everything from the appearance of the band to the music performed, we are the complete package, combining elegance and style with extraordinary sound and contagious enthusiasm.
Think about the great night you'll be enjoying when you book The Majestics for your next event. Baltimore's most exciting and elegant eight-piece Wedding/Variety Band will keep you dancing all night.
We are willing to travel 100 miles at no extra cost.
