So many of my guests commmented on how AWESOME Steve Moody our DJ was. It was a fabulous wedding reception and I don't think that I could have dreamed of it being any better!! Steve Moody is one of a kind and I would recommend him for any reception or party that needs a great eneregetic pumped up DJ to get the crowed moving! It was FABULOUS!! Thank you!

I think I knew Steve Moody was the one from the beginning. Not only is he warm, friendly and enthusiastic over the phone, he immediately sent out a high quality wedding planning package with not only a contract and DJ information, but it also included additional information and tips on planning the wedding and how to make it a success. The online planning forms are fantastic! The website is comprehensive, and I was able to put together every detail for him. He not only showed the highest level of professionalism and quality, but also had an easygoing manner that kept me calm even in stressful parts of the planning process. Throughout the entire process he and his wife Lori were there to answer any questions, they were very flexible, and time and again expressed their support and excitement for us. By the time our wedding day came along, I felt that not only had I chosen a qualified service provider, but also a friend. Thank you, Steve and Lori. I couldn't have asked for better. You guys are amazing!

Steve Moody was great at getting all of our guests onto the dance floor and kept the party going all night long. All of our guests mentioned how great the music and DJ was. He was very flexible and improvised throughout the night. My family will definitely be using him for years to come. Steve Moody made our wedding reception spectacular.

Our wedding would not have been as wonderful without Steve. Our guests did not sit down. The dance floor was full the entire night! It is 2 weeks later and people are still talking about how much they danced. I would 100% recommend Steve Moody. He did a phenomenal job. We absolutely loved Steve. Our entire reception was talking about how great hte DJ was. He kept the events of the evening moving, engaged with guests who were hesitant to get out on the dance floor and facilitated our requests perfectly. Steve and team are truly AMAZING! I had Becca and James do my wedding and they did such an awesome job! I was a difficult bride to deal with. who knew nothing of what she wanted and they made every bit of my planning easy! I literally told them to surprise me with music selections, and they took into account the genre of music I had already selected for certain things and made them all mesh so well. I was getting stopped during the wedding by people telling me what a great job they were doing and how amazing Becca was doing with managing us all and keeping us all in order! They were so much fun and easy going! And as for the business end of things, Steve and Lori went out of their way to send me helpful hints and info that they thought i might need to make things run smoother. They sent me an amazing package of just some of the best info and wedding advice a bride would need!! SO GREAT! Worth every penny!!! AND they were still one of the best priced ones out there! Loved them all!!!!!

My family has been using Steve Moody for weddings, graduation parties, etc... Very accomodating! Fun and fantastic. Our family and friends are still talking about how wonderful and enjoyable the DJ was at our wedding. Steve speaks clearly when announcing each important moment during the reception and really draws in the crowd. My husband and I had nothing to worry about and he spoke on behalf of us so we weren't bothered with little details! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire evening! Jimmy was amazing he did a beautiful job on the ceremony and the reception. He was a gentelman and a true professional. If you hire steve moody to do your special event make sure you have a large dance floor because at my daughter's wedding we counted 2 people in their seats.

My husband and I were so thrilled to have your company and Jimmy as our DJ at our wedding. You all are amazing in customer service. Also, we loved having the planning form to help keep us organized. But most importantly, we loved our DJ. Jimmy was extremely professional and personable as well. He asked great questions in the pre-wedding set-up. Everything went smoothly on the wedding day. He kept the energy of the afternoon and into the night moving along quite nicely. He met our wishes and my guests' wishes. I have never seen a dance floor so packed and the crowd was singing along. Jimmy is a great entertainer and we highly recommend him to everyone and anyone. We are still receiving compliments about Jimmy, and we could not be more pleased.

After working with Steve Moody for almost a year, he became like part of the family! While planning my wedding, my family and I met with Steve on several occasions. He is extremely likable and someone you would trust 101% to MC your wedding. I originally thought this would exceed our price range but much to my surprise, Moody Entertainment offered affordable prices! During the reception Steve consistently checked in with to make sure everything was going the way I planned and keeping us informed before each announcement. He even made me sit down and eat, so I could take a breather from all the excitement! Steve handled the evening like a true professional and let me just say that everyone was out on that dance floor all night long! Steve was fun, has a great sense of humor and followed through with everything we had previously discussed. When you work with him, it is very easy to tell how much he loves what he does. He is the type of guy who loves to interact with people and make them happy! My Guests are still telling me, "this was the best wedding they have ever been too". I have spent over a year planning. The DJ & MC will determine how fun your wedding will be! Most people love to dance and most people want an MC who will make them laugh and start the party. Steve Moody Entertainment was better than we could have ever expected. It was our main goal to make sure that all of our guests had a great time at our reception. With the help of Steve Moody and his crew, everyone had an absolute BLAST. I cannot speak more highly of them. They truly delivered an amazing night for us and we are forever grateful!

Steve was absolutely FABULOUS!! Start to finish he was simply the best. The planning stages, multiple phone calls and emails to touch base to the event, he was flawless. By far my favorite vendor of our wedding!

I absolutely loved how Steve was able to get all of our guests up and moving! He did an excellent job with song selections and made sure he played all of the requested songs. I wouldn't have settled for anything less!!

Steve was fantastic! He was recommended to us by our photographer as her favorite DJ to work weddings with. He had everyone engaged in dancing and fun the whole night. Our guests loved him, some asking for his contact info to hire him in the future. I would recommend him to anyone!!! The only planning form was super convenient and easy to use. Such a nice guy also!

Steve Moody was very easy to work with. The Music Library on his online planner lists most song titles that anyone would want. If you want to choose your own songs, Steve Moody accommodates virtually every wish in his selection of music. He does an excellent job announcing the various stages of the wedding event, and has fun in the process. He is very professional, and joins in with the guests to make it a fun time for all.

Steve Moody did an amazing job at our reception. The young woman who was the MC was amazing! She knew the balance of getting involved with the crowd and then just letting us dance. The young man who was the DJ played an amazing array of songs for our more younger than older crowd. THey were awesome taking requests as well. And they even stayed for an extra 2 hours when we didnt want the dancing to stop!

Steve was the DJ for our 9/3/11 wedding in Southern Maryland, and I am not exaggerating when I say hiring him was one of the best wedding decisions I made. I feel that with weddings, the DJ can really make or break the mood of the reception, and Steve is energetic, enthusiastic, friendly, and funny. He's extremely professional, if you watch some of the video clips on his site, that's what Steve looks like, he shows up looking sharp! And flexibility, Steve is the best. I think we challenged that! We had a lot of pre-wedding nightmares between Hurricane Irene causing some pretty serious damage, and worse, my father being very sick. We didn't know until the day of if my dad would be at the wedding and even then it changed multiple times. Steve rolled with the punches right along with us, working without any sort of finalized schedule, because we certainly didn't have one! But from a guest's perspective, any problems we might have been experiencing in the background, unless you were "in the know" it didn't show. The reception went so smoothly, no one could tell how much stress I had been under, and I really think that is all because of Steve, because he is the master of ceremonies. He's experienced, organized, and thoughtful. Steve gets everyone dancing, and I mean everyone! I find at a lot of weddings you have a pretty big divide in guests,the family who are typically older and the friends who are younger, and usually you find only half on the dance floor. Not the case at our wedding! Steve got everyone on the dance floor for a couple of large group dances so that the photographer was able to get pics of everyone dancing and having a great time. And he really mixed up the music to please everyone. He took requests. I was able to pick a must play list, a do not play list, and songs we like that he could work off as part of the planning process. It was a blast!There are a lot of things I hear from guests post-wedding and only a few things that you hear back from everyone, and one of the most talked-about is Steve. Everyone loved him. I had so many people come up to me and tell me that the DJ was fantastic, where did you find him, he's amazing...and I agree! If I were having another Maryland event, I would hire Steve in a heartbeat.

He was the best, most organized and professional wedding vendor we worked with, and was an awesome master of ceremonies. He gave my husband and I helpful updates throughout the day ("we're running a couple minutes behind" or "in the next few minutes, I'll be announcing the cake cutting"). Also, he worked with us to only play the songs we wanted, which we gave him through a convenient online planning form. Steve is EXCELLENT. I wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else.
