Jeff was an amazing DJ for our wedding! He was very involved in the planning, was willing to meet us at a place and time convient to us, and was more than happy to accomodate last minute changes. Our family and friends say that our wedding was the best they have ever been to and it was mostly because of Jeff! Thank you so much for making our wedding special and unforgettable!

Jeff Furnas was our deejay and he was fantastic. He was extremely professional, flexible, and paid attention to the crowd. He made sure the music got people up and dancing. You should stop your DJ search here and get in touch with MyDeejay! What we liked most about Evan and MyDeejay was how easy they were to work with. We had a pretty big generational gap at our wedding and wanted everyone to have some time on the dance floor. We were concerned that it would be hard to find a DJ who understood what we were looking for and could successfully transition the evening from Frank Sinatra to Jay Z. Once we met Evan our concerns were put to rest. He understood exactly what we wanted and kept everyone dancing all night which was what we really wanted at our reception. Evan understood that we didn't want a DJ who was on the microphone all night or one that was using our wedding to show off their eclectic taste in music. In addition, with their experience doing weddings in the area, it was great to find a vendor who knew our venue and understood the acoustics, speaker placement, etc. As far as pricing, we were also extremely pleased with MyDeejay. Once we signed our contract there were no hidden charges for "extras" like additional microphones, speakers, etc. With all the other stuff you have to do planning a wedding it was really great to work with a straightforward company that delivered on every promise they made. MyDeejay was fantastic and the hundreds of reviews here saying so are totally accurate.

If you want a professional DJ service that meets all of your needs, then MyDeejay is the place to go. My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. From the moment we contacted them, they were polite and answered any question in a timely matter. Their song selection is HUGE and for some odd reason if they don't have your song, they will get it, no questions asked. Our DJ Michael Bell was great and really helped make the wedding reception run smoothly. He was flexible in meeting us anywhere we wanted to, we chose our local Starbucks, to meet and discuss the wedding. I had one guest come up to me during the reception and say, "your song selection is perfect and it makes me want to have my wedding all over again." We could not have done this without Michael. Overall, I couldn't have imagined another DJ company being apart of our wedding. The DJ plays such an important role in the success of the reception and Michael Bell and MyDeejay knocked it out of the park. I would highly recommend MyDeejay and Michael Bell to my friends and family.

As any party planner can tell you, the DJ is one of the most important factors to any event. You can have a beautiful venue, good food, great friends, but if your music isn't symbiotic with your guests, the evening will be dull. Your event is like a picture. You set all the lines and put in all the characters you need to complete the scene, but the music is the color; it creates the mood, levies the emotion of the event. We were very deliberate in our selection of our DJ; we looked at a bit of everything; small, big, and in between. One meeting with Evan, and our search ended immediately. I think my now-husband said it best: "the man knows Stacks Records, we have to hire him!". Eclectic music lovers, my husband and Evan spoke for over an hour about every genre from alternative, to country, to Motown, to Stacks. Evan was the only DeeJay who was able to match my husband beat for beat. Evan's not just a DJ, he's a musical connoisseur; and that's what you want at any event important to you. You want someone who can read a crowd, and be able to pick a song from library of thousands of songs that'll be able to elicit the emotion and response you're looking for. His skill set exceeds that of a DJ. Beyond his expertise, he's professional, prepared, and just an overall nice person. Evan doesn't need our recommendation; he has hundreds of positive reviews. Nonetheless, our wedding reception was exceptionally flawless. It exceed my expectations, and believe me, my expectations were high. The dance floor was full throughout the entire night: Our grandmothers, who are in their 70's and 80's and haven't danced in decades, even graced the dance floor with a two-step - TWICE! Friends, family, and co-workers were sing their hearts out to one another, dancing with the person closest to them, dancing by themselves even! Evan created something magical under our wedding tent; the emotion was symbiotic. For this reasons alone, we had to share this experience - even if he didn't need it. Thank you Evan! We had a picture perfect wedding, but you made the day a piece of art. We'd be happy to serve as a recommendation at any time.

My husband and I were so pleased with MyDeejay and our DJ Trevor Blake. He was laid back and easy going - a great fit for us. We had several music requests that were unique and Trevor was able to accommodate us. He also kept the dance floor full and was able to read the crowd. The most important note is that the reception itself through a few curve balls my way and Trevor, as the MC, was able to roll with them all. He was flexible and remained unruffled.

We are so happy we went with MyDeejay and Mike Bell for our wedding! Mike was so helpful all the way through the process, we never worried that he knew exactly what he was doing and would make sure our guests had an excellent time. His suggestions for music for the pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and other times were great. He had guests on the dance floor the entire night, and everyone commented on what a great time it was. Thanks to his suggestions, we decided to skip separate ceremony musicians which was definitely a help to our budget! MyDeejay were amazing. Without a doubt, they were an ease to work with prior to and on the day of the wedding. Brian Jones was our DJ, and he was excellent. Not only was he extremely professional and responsive working with us, helping to ensure the setlist was what we wanted, but on the day of he came prepared for a number of contingencies that only a seasoned DJ would have known to anticipate. They were great! Highest recommendations!!

I would definitely recommend MyDeejay to other brides! MyDeejay did a great job matching us with their DJ Jeremy. We met twice with him, once for our initial consult and a second time to go over the day of details. My Deejay has a great online system for brides/grooms to put in their must plays, do not plays, and wedding timeline. Jeremy took all of our requests and ran with it! He totally got "us" and played other songs that were perfect! Jeremy did a great job sticking to our timeline and everyone was on the dance floor all night long and could not stop complimenting the music!

Steve and I got married on November 12th, 2011 and we chose MyDeejay as our wedding DJ. We initially had a bit of a hard time finding a DJ we liked. We were very cost conscious since we were paying for our wedding ourselves. Thus, we tried to look for the best deals. We met with/talked with a few DJs with very affordable prices but couldn't quite find the right "fit" for us.We received a recommendation for MyDeejay from our wedding planner - Rebecca of Blue Canary Events - and also from a friend who had gotten married last year and used MyDeejay. I e-mailed MeDeejay to get more information, and I was immediately impressed by the prompt and professional response I received from Jennifer. We set up a phone consultation and Jennifer put my in touch with Devin - one of their DJs.Soon after, we met with Devin at a Starbucks near our house. Devin traveled quite far to meet us there, and we talked with us about the contract and the type of music we wanted for our wedding. He was extremely professional, but also very nice and easy to talk to. We booked with him the next day! Even though My DeeJay was a bit more expensive than the other DJs we had initially looked into, we knew it would be worth the price.Over the next several months, we e-mailed back and forth with Devin. Devin was ALWAYS very prompt with his responses and we really appreciated that. On our wedding day, Devin did an awesome job. We really liked his style - he is the opposite of an "in your face" DJ - very easy going when he made announcements. He did a great job with the music list - we had many guests tell us that they the music was awesome. Also, some of our friends organized a flash mob for our wedding as a surprise to us, and Devin was able to help coordinate with them to make it go smoothly! Overall, we think MyDeejay is a SOLID company, and we highly recommend Devin specifically :-)

We worked with Mike Bell, and had an amazing time at our reception. He struck a great balance between songs that were important to us and songs that would make people shake their groove things. He was responsive, professional, and extremely easy to get along with. His dynamic sense for reading a room plus his breadth of musical knowledge is fantastic, and I ain't going to lie, I danced my face off.

our photographer recommended mydeejay and said that she had worked with them a number of times and always thought they knew how to throw a great reception. mike bell was our dj and we could not have been more thrilled with our experience. mike was warm, professional, fun, and genuine. our guests loved the music and i have already recommended mydeejay to a number of friends.

Anthony at MyDeejay provided the music for my reception. My husband loves jazz and swing, and I love Disco. Anthony did a great job combining our musical tastes, and kept the dance floor full for the entire reception. We loved the music and got many compliments on it from the guests. Anthony was very responsive through the planning process, and provided good suggestions for mother/son, father/daughter, etc. dances when we asked. We were really very pleased with the way it all turned out and found Anthony to be great to work with for the wedding.

I can't say enough good things about Devin Alexander from MyDeeJay. When my wife I were looking for a DJ we called about 15 DJs. Finally Jennifer from MyDeeJay was able to suggest Devin because of his club background and experience. Devin was available to answer our questions at any given time during the year we were preparing for the wedding. My deejay.com was recommended to me and I'm enthusiastically doing the same to anyone looking for a DJ for an important event! They have many DJs to choose from and are very good at listening to your needs and pairing you with the right DJ. I was set-up with William Steward and adored him from the moment we met. He was very professional, had a warm and friendly personality and calming demeanor--something that was important to me as I was planning my wedding! I knew that he would sincerely care about our our big day. As expected, he was fabulous! William did a great job helping us organize the timeline of the reception, which was a huge asset. And, I got many rave reviews throughout the night and following the wedding. He did a great job with the music selection, having to satisfy my husband's Texas roots and my Dad's Motown tastes.

We worked with Anthony from My Deejay for the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Anthony was awesome. My husband and I really wanted for our wedding to be fun and for everyone to just have a good time dancing, and Anthony helped us accomplish that. Everyone told us throughout the wedding and afterward how great the music was.My Deejay in general is super cool because they have a whole online music setup where you can add songs to your must play, can play, and absolutely do not play lists. The song that I used to walk down the aisle is a cover song that they did not have in their library and actually wasn't available on itunes either. Anthony went to the artist's site and got the version of the song that we wanted.

From the initial email communication with MyDeejay, I was impressed. My wife and I live in Florida, but we got married in northern Virginia. MyDeejay and the DJ that they selected for us, Van Petty, went out of their way to accommodate our time restraints. Van is an excellent DJ who is highly proficient in mixing, cutting, and looping tracks. Without Van, our wedding may not have been as perfect as it was. MyDeejay is an exceptional company that has employed great talents that help create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding at an affordable price.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose MyDeejay to provide the music at our wedding. MyDeejay conducted a "personality interview" at the outset to ensure that we were matched with a DJ who suited our needs and our personalities. We're not sure they could have selected a better deejay for us than Jeff. We loved how flexible he was throughout the process. He gave us some great advice on what types of songs to play and when, and he accomodated all of our last-minute changes and decisions. He met with us twice in person (including once at our venue) for no additional charge, and I'm sure he would have met more times if we wanted. We also received many compliments from our guests about our playlist, and that's definitely a credit to him, because we only personally selected a handful of songs to play. The dance floor was packed throughout the entire reception. MyDeejay and Jeff were an absolute pleasure to work with, and we recommend them without hesitation.

Mike was our DJ, and he did a great job. From the initial meeting with him, it was clear Mike just loves music. We were able to give him a vague list of artists we like and he immediately made suggestions for similar artists and songs which really impressed us since our tastes lean a little towards indie rock and are not mainstream at all. He is a DJ by profession, so this is not just his hobby or something he does on the side. He was always easy to get in contact with before the wedding, and he made sure he had a solid understanding of what we did and didn’t want played. He was great at coordinating things between the photographer and the caterer, so everything ran smoothly. He did a good job of reading the crowd and kept things moving nicely. We specifically requested no cheese at our event, and Mike also very elegantly dodged cheesy requests by a few rogue guests, which we really appreciated. We had a friend at our wedding who was so pleased with the job he did that she wanted his contact information for her own wedding! We would highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a DJ.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience using MyDeejay for our October 8th wedding. DJ Jeff Furnas was wonderful, professional, and fun! He went above a beyond (provided microphones/speakers for our ceremony and worked with family members who wanted to perform during our cocktail hour). We received so many compliments and the dance floor was PACKED the entire night! The company's price point is a little higher than some other DJ companies, but I promise it is worth every penny. You will not be disappointed!
