Dan Hawkins of Music Masters did a phenomenal job at our daughter's wedding. The crowd was up and dancing the entire night. He kept the floor packed with his ability to read the crowd and keep them moving all night!!!! I would recommend his services if you are going to be using a D.J. for your event!!!

My husband and I are in our early thirties and we were looking for a DJ that would meet our requests on music style/type, get people dancing and also be very professional at the same time. We had a formal evening wedding reception at the Chesapeake Bay Hyatt that we wanted to be very elegant yet at the same time be a relaxed, fun party atmosphere. Music Masters provided DJ Jason Burns for our reception. Jason was fantastic and did a great job for us! He was extremely professional, very friendly, arrived to our event well ahead of time, did an excellent job of playing songs that fit into the music genres we were looking for during the reception, had a great announcing voice, had a presence during the reception but was unobtrusive. We received so many great compliments from our wedding guest on the music and how everyone had a great time on the dance floor. I would definitely recommend DJ Jason Burns with Music Masters.

A BIG shout-out to Music Masters for totally ROCKING our wedding! We truly could not have picked a better DJ source--Music Masters is amazing! Through all our planning and hesitations, Music Masters was sincere, attentive and provided amazing customer service. Justin was a perfect DJ, he was funny, on top of his game and completely drove the party. He had an excellent sense of what people like and what gets people dancing. He was exactly what we needed and everyone loved him. We had so many compliments on Justin and have spread the VERY POSITIVE word about Music Masters. We would 100% recommend Music Masters to anyone :)

we had dan from musicmasters. im the mother of the bride and became her coordinater. i wanted the best and interviewed many people for her wedding, including like 30 dj's. when i heard dans voice over the phone, i told him i liked his voice. then we met him and we called him back later and said we wanted him no one else. he kept us well informed throughoutt before the wedding and answered every question. he also was willing to do what we wanted with music and lighting in anyway we wanted. he listened to us, unlike others who only anted to do what they wanted.the day of the wedding he was great.as a mom i thought i would have worries but didnt have any. he kept everything going smoothly from beginning to end. he interacted with everyone. dan also played the music we wanted and loved the way he had the music switch over to one to another. i would highly reccomend him to anyone.

We were very pleased with their service and customer friendliness. Their on-line music selection / planner is very helpful. And they are super responsive to last minute changes. And the cost is very competitive. Especially if you're getting married at Pier V, don't even think twice...

We hired Music Masters for an after wedding cocktail party. We liked the online aspect of picking our music, but I left it to my fiancee to fill out the website and of course it didn't get completed in time. No problem, the DJ called us the week before the party to get a better idea of what we wanted. Even though we only had a general idea of what we wanted (and very few picked out songs) he was able to fill in the gaps with songs we didn't even know we wanted, but were perfect. Kamau (sp?) was our DJ and we couldn't have been happier. Everyone kept telling us what a great time they were having. Thanks!

Excellent service!!! Dan matched us up with the perfect DJ to meet all of our needs. Our DJ, Ed, was flexible with our time running behind schedule, knew all of the ques, really got our wedding guests excited and consulted with me about songs to play, even during the reception. Dan was great to work with. He met with us a couple times before the wedding to get an idea of what we liked and what we didn't like. He also offered some great ideas that my wife and I had not thought of. The best part of the experience was Music Masters website which allowed my wife and I to pick all of the music we liked and to pick songs that we absolutely did not want Dan to play. Also, wthe website allowed us to provide Dan with a timeline of events for a smooth evening. Everything ran smoothly, the music was awesome and our guests had so much fun. I would highly recommend Music Masters.

We used MusicMasters for our wedding in July. At first, I was hesitant to use a DJ service because I was used to seeing bands at weddings, but due to money restrictions, I looked into DJ's and found MusicMasters to be the most affordable with the best customer service. Dan was in constant contact with me and listened to my thoughts and concerns with an open mind. I told him how important music was going to be at my wedding and he assured me that he understood. He had me meet my DJ who was equally as receptive to my thoughts, ideas and concerns. Our wedding, and DJ, ended up being a total success! Our DJ managed to keep my dance floor filled to the max the entire night! He juggled a diverse menu of musical requests. At one point, one song that he played (that was requested) was not on par for that moment and without skipping a beat, he changed tunes and within 10 seconds everyone was back on track, dancing the night away. My husband, family and I couldn't have been happier or more satisfied with MusicMasters and would recommend their services to anyone for any event.

Dan Hawkins did a great job at our wedding. He had DJed my sisters wedding a year and half before, and he was awesome at keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. We didn't have a ton of specific songs we wanted to hear, which worked great because he can guage the feel of the crowd and pick songs based on what he thinks the guests want to hear. He is not cheesey at all, and is a good speaker when introducing the toasts and keeping the reception moving. I highly recommend Dan!

Dear Dan and Sue, Jonathan was super! He played a mix of music which made everyone happy. As you know, the play list that he started with was interesting, but not very familiar to most people. He was able to find the right songs to keep the group dancing and having a good time. Also, he was careful about the special requests and thought about each request to be sure that it was not something we had asked not to be play. He also worked well with the photographer, video photographer and caterer coordinating the events together. He was very good about making all the announcements - introducing the bride & groom, father/daughter dance, best man toast, etc. He was great about checking with me or the photographer if there were any questions. I would definitely recommend Jonathan. He was great! Tell him thanks from us.

Dan was extremely professional and worked with us to find the right feel for our wedding. He honored all of my requests and was very helpful in guiding the event so that I really didn't have to worry about anything. It is obvious that he has been doing this for a long time and knows what he is doing - thanks for keeping everyone on the dance floor and making it "our" wedding, not just "another wedding!"

Dan is a professional and made out reception fun and interactive! He really knows how to get the crowd pumped up - and his song selections are appropriate to the occasion.

MusicMasters was great! They were by far the best value for the price. Some of the other DJs I looked into were almost twice the cost for the exact same service. They have a great online event planner where you can write out all the details for your ceremony and/or reception and you can also browse their music library to make your play (or DO NOT play) list. I finalized all the details with my actual DJ and everything went off without a hitch! He was a great DJ, played the songs we requested, and kept the music going all night! He did a great job of emceeing the reception for us as well, which made the night flow well. I did most of my communication with Dan Hawkins, who was great to work with and very responsive! Our actual DJ was Joe Clark, and he did a wonderful job! I highly recommend them!

Dan Hawkins DJ service is the BEST!!! Our wedding was so much fun because of Dan. Our reception lasted an hour longer because everyone wanted more dancing and fun that Dan provided. Dan Hwkins was the BEST DJ we could have asked for!! No one was off the dance floor all night and guests were begging for Dan to Dj an extra hour! He was AMAZING...No one was bored! Everyone was dancing all night long!!

Jacki did our DJ service. She was very kind & professional. She went over a detailed list with me by phone before the wedding, & even had some questions I hadn't even thought of about the music to be played. Since every bride is caught up in the moment, they don't have much time to think about what will be done and when. Jacki was right there telling me what we were about to do (the line up in which we discussed). She was also asking me if I had any other requests throughout the evening. She was very caring & sociable with my guests as well. This experience with Music Masters went beyond my expectations and you can tell that they aim to please. I didn't have a thing to worry about, and one less worry is definitely how you want to spend your special day! Everything just seemed to be magically taken care of. I'd recommend Music Masters, without a doubt, to anyone who needs a DJ. <3
