JUST DESSERTS by Linda

Just Desserts made our wedding cake look and taste delicious. We were originally planning to use another baker because it was built-in to our catering package, but the customer service through the baker was horrible. After meeting Linda at a wedding open house held out our venue, we never looked back. The cakes were delicious with a variety of flavors to choose from. We ordered a 3 tier cake with two layers of red velvet and one made with pumpkin spice cake. It was absolutely delicious and not over priced. Linda was very easy to work with and the customer service was phenomenal.

Linda was amazing! From the minute we meant I knew she was the right baker for us, I emailed her asking about her services and set up a time to get together and do a cake tasting. She provided us with over 20 different cake flavors to taste and each was amazing(I typically don't even eat cake!!) I knew when I meant with her I did NOT want a typical wedding cake, the theme of my wedding was tropical and originally I wanted a square cake covered in coconut with 3 different layers of flavors, bottom was lemon cake with raspberry filling, top was coconut cake with pineapple filling and the top tier was coconut cake with key lime filling. All were phenomenal! Over the course of a year I changed my cake design about 3 times, finally deciding on 3 different cakes covered in shaved coconut and buttercream icing, placed on bamboo stands and surrounded by a bamboo looking base(she made this out of fondant) the cake turned out better then I could ever have imagined!!! it displayed so wonderfully and looked awesome with our theme! Everyone complimented on how delicious it was! We had NONE left over! Linda also made my sons Birthday cake which was Phineas and Ferb themed and everyone LOVED IT! She also made the cake for my Bridal Shower and that was delicious as well and looked awesome, I received so many compliments on her and I refer her to everyone!! She was much much cheaper then other bakers I have contacted, way more friendly and much more accommodating then I think a chain baker would have been. You don't need to think twice with Linda! She is just flat out AWESOME! and I will be ordering all of my cakes from her in the future!!!

I could not have been happier with the way that my wedding cake turned out. It was not only beautiful, but tasted amazing. It actually turned out way better than anything I had ever dreamed of. I went with the swiss buttercream frosting, which was well worth the extra cost. Linda's prices were extremely reasonable and she was an incredible value. I would recommend Linda to anyone and look forward to getting my 1-year anniversary cake from her.

We had two separate recommendations for Linda and we are so glad we found her! She was super easy to work with and her prices were VERY reasonable. We got to have 4 different cake flavors/layers (including fresh strawberries) for no extra cost. She even made us a mini gluten and dairy free cake for 3 of our guests (including the MOH) for a very reasonable cost. I never tried it but heard it was also amazing!!!!!!!!!!! There was a little mix up on the design of my cake BUT it was GORGEOUS and worked perfectly for my reception- not to mention tasted great! I hardly would have noticed but Linda was very sweet in apologizing right away about it. I would recommend Linda for any occasion!

Our wedding cake was not only absolutely visually astounding, but it also tasted divine!!! People are still complimenting us 3 weeks later on how fabulous our caked looked and tasted! In fact, I don't know if anyone can decide what was more impressive, the appearance or the taste!! My father in law even joked that it tasted good enough to eat the crumbs off the floor after My husband and i smashed it in each others faces!!!! I would recommend linda's product and professionalism to ANYONE!! You cannot go wrong with her!

All I can say is our cake was absolutely beautiful, and I'm still hearing compliments!! We had high expectations for what the cake would look like, after taking the time with Linda to disuccs the different elements, and our expectations were exceeded. The chocolate ganoche icing was out-of-this-world good- defintiely recommend!!

Linda made a beautiful and delicious cake for our daughter's wedding reception. She was flexible and was able to make the exact cake we wanted.

The cake was a HUGE deal to me since I am a sweets type of girl. As soon as we met with Linda we knew the cake that we wanted was going to be the cake that we were going get. We chose 3 different flavors for the 4 tiered cake. Each layer was rich in flavor and moist. Just what you want the cake to be! I handed Linda a picture of the fall branch design that I fell in love with. The cake was identical to the picture on my wedding day! It was gorgeous! We froze the top tier and froze another portion that was leftover. We have slowly been taking pieces out of the freezer to eat and it is still just as delicious. Linda was a pleasure to work with. She was ready to make our cake perfect for us and it was!

Loved Linda! She made the cake tasting an amazing experience, and even sent us home with cake in case we needed to taste more cakes so we were positive about our final decision. The cake was DELICIOUS with an amazing frosting. Not the typical cake that is dry and bland. Extremely flavorful and I couldn't get enough. The guests loved the cake as well!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! Everthing we wanted! Our guests loved the chocolate/strawberry layer as well as the lemon/rasberry layer! We also contacted Linda a couple months before the wedding to prepare a cake for my 92 year grandfather. She made a very nice and detailed cake with my grandfather's Dartmouth shield on it, with only an emailed picture of it. My grandfather and our wedding guests all LOVED this cake as well!

Linda was so wonderful to work with! She had so many options for cake designs and all the flavors at the tasting were so good- it was hard to choose. We wound up changing the design a few weeks before the wedding to match our invitations, and Linda was very very accommodating. She was so easy to reach through email and would always call/email back quickly. The cake was gorgeous! Our guests raved about how wonderful it tasted too. We will be sure to contact Linda for cakes for any upcoming event.

Linda was very friendly and accommodating with my schedule. One of the reasons we went with her was really due to her personality. Her prices are reasonable and the cakes were good. I gave high marks because of her responsiveness and pricing. However, I didn't really like how our cake turned out appearance-wise. The icing (we don't like the taste of fondant) looked kind of sloppy and the cake seemed a bit lopsided. My husband thought the cake tasted fine. I just didn't like how the look of the cake turned out.

Desserts By Linda was great to work with! Linda was such a professional and could understand exactly what we wanted for our wedding cake. Linda executed our vision perfectly. We had so many compliments on how beautiful our cake was but mostly how delicious it was!!!

We made multiple changes in our wedding planning process and Linda adjusted easily to each one! Our cake was delicious! Her prices and options are GREAT!! I will definitely use Linda again!!

Linda from Just Desserts came to our house bearing many samples of various cakes and all were delicious! She was able to create a beautiful cake that was exactly as we had requested. She was very flexible with the various filling and icing choices and it looked as good as it tasted. We've already ordered another small cake for an after-party!

Linda made our wedding cake and it was delicious! We met her at a local starbucks to do the tasting. My husband and I were so thrilled with all of her cakes, which surprised us both, as neither one of us are big cake eaters. We ended up choosing different flavors for all four layers of the cake. We had starwberry cake with cream cheese filling (our favorite and we also chose this for our anniversary layer), almond cake with strawberry filling, and chocolate cake with raspberry filling. We went with the whipped frosting and it was soo great!! Linda was a pleasure to work with and delivered the cake for no delivery charge to the Ceresville Mansion. Her prices are extremely reasonable compared to many bakers in the Montgomery County area, which is what originally drew us to her. The great cake made it a simple decision for us! The only thing that bothered me was that the cake did not end up looking exactly how I had imagined. It was a very plain design (which is what I wanted) with a small swagger of fondant from each layer. The majority of the cake was great, I just didnt love the way the fondant swagger connecting each layer came out. Overall, I loved the taste of the cake and Linda was great. I would definitely recommend her!

Linda came recommended by Salernos Catering. We met with Linda at a bridal show and looked at the pictures of her past work. We decided what we wanted and called Linda to set up an appointment. Linda came to the house with samples for a tasting. We decided on the flavors we wanted and booked with Linda. On they day of the wedding, we were very pleased with the way we were very pleased with the arrangement of flowers and the work she put into the cake. We receieved so many compliments on the taste of cake.

Linda did such a good job!!! My cake was gorgeous!!!!! And... it tasted great and was a great price. Linda is so easy to work with and does an amazing job!

Yum! Linda did a wonderful job with our wedding cake. She met with us at the Sheraton, which was quite a drive for her! I have to admit, I was a little nervous because when we signed the contract with the hotel Sugarbakers was the baker and I had tried their cake before and liked it. So when I was informed of this change I was nervous because I had never tried Linda's cakes before, but we were pleasantly pleased that we were lucky enough to have Linda as our baker! When we met with her, I described what I was looking for but did not really find an example in any of the pictures she had because I wanted a few different designs. This was no problem for Linda She knew just what I was looking for and was able to sketch out an amazing design for us. Linda also contacted my florist to let them know that we would be needing fresh flowers for the cake which was one less thing for me to do! On our wedding day our cake looked amazing and better than I imagined it to be! The detail on each layer was beautiful. Each layer was a different flavor and was very delicious! Everyone loved it! Like a previous reviewer, we worked with Linda as part of our contract with the Sheraton who is using her for their cakes. She was great to meet with, gave us a wide variety of options within the package price at the Sheraton, and provided us with the option of some "extras" at a slightly higher cost (certain frostings, fillings, etc.) The day of our wedding, the cake was beautiful AND delicious, though we didn't get to eat a lot of it :( We are definitely looking forward to our first anniversary and breaking out that top layer!!
