Perfect in every way! As soon as my Mom and I did a tasting at Fiona's shop we knew we'd found the wedding cake. The cakes, fillings, and icing that we tried were all incredibly good! Fiona met every expectation and hope that we had for the wedding cake. The design was exactly as we requested and the actual cake tasted fabulous! In pricing cakes, we knew that the pricing was higher than a few other vendors but once we tasted their cakes, we knew that we would be getting what we paid for. Her cake was worth every cent! I would hire her in a second to prepare another cake for us!

Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious. Fiona did a fantastic job on delivering EXACTLY what we asked for. She was easy to work with, and was priced competitively to earn our business. I really enjoyed the consultation meeting Fiona requires if you are interested in her services. The meeting was very informative and really put us at ease knowing that she would be able to take care of everything we needed in regards to a wedding cake on our special day.Fiona even allowed us to chose multiple flavors for our wedding cake.... we went with the red velvet cake and an almond brittle cake with a touch of raspberry filling. It was so delicious and everyone raved about how unique the almond brittle cake was.... it really had great flavor. Moist, light, and not over the top with icing. It was exactly what we were looking. Choose Fiona for your next special occasion cake and you (and your guests) will be glad you did.

Fiona's Cakes was an absolute pleasure to work with! Our cake was beautiful and so yummy! We had a vintage theme, so our cake was kind of simple, but Fiona made it look stunning. We wanted a messy buttercream frosting and she made it look timeless. We bought custom toppers almost at the last minute and she had no problem with us sending them to her for the big day. She went on vacation for a week during the summer and made sure to communicate with us that she would be unavailable. We went with a simple vanilla cake with raspberry filling for one tier and a luscious almond cake with an almond crunch filling for the other and the top. Both were divine! Everyone loved the cake and I can't wait to tear into that top tier on our 1st anniversary!

i can't imaging tasting fiona's cake and not deciding to place an order with her - it is hands down the best cake you will ever eat. i watched guests make trip after trip up to the dessert table, and they all were raving about how great the cake was. it looked exactly how we wanted, and i'm happy to report that the cake tasted as good at our wedding as it did on the day of the tasting. i'm guessing we won't be able to hold out a full year before we tear into our top tier...

Our cake was absolutely delicious. Fiona's flavors are delicious and different than any other cake baker we taste tested with. My only confusion was that we order a cake that had 1 tier Tiramasu and 1 tier Almond Brittle, however after talking to my guests, I haven't spoken to a single person who had a piece of Tiramasu. I am wondering whether the cake even had it. But all in all, the cake was delicious and I can't wait for our anniversary to enjoy another slice. (Fiona is willing to make you a replica top tier on your anniversary so that the cake is fresh rather than frozen!) I would definitely consider buying cakes from her in the future for other events.

Fionas is absolutely the place to go for your wedding cake. We had a Navy wedding in Annapolis and the cake was absolutely perfect. Not only did it look beautiful, and Fiona decorated the cake with fresh flowers perfectly, it was so delicious. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about how it tasted, and we couldn't wait to eat the top! She was timely, discrete with set up, professional, and provided us with the cake of our dreams!

Fionna arranges a cake tasting that is out of this world. She has many cake flavors and fillings to choose from. She will accommodate any of your ideas, and can do traditional, contemporary and custom designs. Fionna decorated 3 different sized cakes with different fillings for us, and when we asked her to size each one to put on our pedastals for the presentation, she performed the job beautifully. Fionna personally delivers the cakes and sets up the cake table, and the cakes were delicious!

Fiona's Cakes did a beautiful job on our wedding cake last weekend. We did a vanilla cake with dark chocolate mousse and raspberry filling and it was to die for. Not only did it taste good but it was beautiful. I used to work in catering and I have experienced numerous cake companies that have beautiful wedding cakes but do not taste good. We wanted to make sure that our wedding cake was equally beautiful and tastey. Fiona also did a grooms cake of a Navy Submarine, my husband is a submariner. And it too was beautiful and delicious!

Fiona not only makes beautiful cakes, they taste great too! My sister used her for her wedding so I never even looked for a different baker for mine. Everybody raved about how good the cake was. Only issue was availability of appointment times.

Fiona made a delicious croquembouche for our wedding! We got lots of raves on how delicious it was from our guests. Fiona was very easy to work with and we were very pleased with the service and the food.

The cakes are DELICIOUS! Fiona created such a lovely cake for my wedding. It was a huge hit. We had vanilla cake with strawberry filling and chocolate cake with peanut butter filling, all with buttercream icing. I would definitely recommend Fiona's Cakes to anyone needing one. I know I'll contact her again when I need another cake!

Our cake was not only beautiful - but tasted SO good. In fact, it was so good that we ran out because guests were getting 2nd and 3rd helpings. Working with Fiona was fun and easy; she is great and knows what she’s doing! She specializes in making cakes that don't just look good, that taste great as well. We will use her again for other events when we need a cake, you should too!

YUM! We went to two places for cake tasting. This was the second. There was no need to look anywhere else. It was a little more expensive than the first place we went to, but it was worth it. Wedding cake is, to me, never really great. This cake was more than great. It was moist and had a ton of flavor. Fiona was easy to work with and did whatever we wanted. We had three tiers and three different flavors. They were all wonderful. People came up to us telling us how good the cake was. They still do! You need to check her out!!

Delicious cake and so beautiful!

We selected Fiona's Cakes for our wedding cake because her cake tasted the best, and we tried a lot of cakes at the CBBC's Bridal Show! When we read all of the positive reviews on WeddingWire, the decision was final! Fiona is great to work with, very personal service. She knows exactly what she's doing, so definitely listen to her if she has suggestions! She'll make sure you have an amazing cake on your wedding day.We were both thrilled with the cake at our wedding! (One guest thought that it couldn't be the real cake, it looked too perfect!) And the other reviews are true: Fiona's cake will vanish at your wedding, and everyone will be talking about how it is the best cake they've ever tasted, ask where they can get more! We had a 3-tiered cake, and served all three layers: vanilla cake brushed w/ khalua & tiramisu filling (SO GOOD!); lemon cake w/ raspberry preserves and lemon curd; and chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream. The whole cake was frosted in American buttercream, and I've never seen buttercream this smooth before! We quickly decided that instead of saving any cake, we would simply contact Fiona and have her make us our 1 year anniversary cake! It's too good to save for a year.Fiona used ribbon that we got for her, it was beautifully applied. We decided to have fresh flowers for the top, and Fiona knew our florist, and they did an excellent job of coordinating themselves to get it all put together properly. I didn't even see the cake delivered, or see Fiona come and go, or give specific instructions about the flowers! It all turned out so beautiful! Thanks Fiona!Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Fiona if you need cake for any occasion! Her wedding cakes are exquisitely constructed, the taste of the cake is absolutely divine, and her prices are more than reasonable. We can't wait to order a cake from Fiona for our one year anniversary, and eat the whole thing ourselves!

We had a wonderful experience working with Fiona! We were so happy to have found her on wedding wire. She was great to work with from our first meeting until our wedding day! Our wedding cake was delicous and our guests really enjoyed it! We had a small group of 30 people and ordered a 3 tiered cake - one layer was almond brittle and the others were raspberry with buttercream. It was amazing! She is a true professional in every way, and very personable. We appreciated all of her patience in working with us throughout the planning of our cake.
