Mario was our DJ, and he did a fantastic job! He played exactly the kind of music we wanted, totally understood our tastes, and was incredibly flexible with the inevitable changes to the schedule. Our ceremony musicians (guitarist and violinist) were excellent, and we got many compliments. C&J provided some of the best musical support I've ever heard at a wedding.

We had Nathan as our DJ for my wedding. He was absolutely amazing. He was helpful in picking out certain music. He played music that he knew the crowd would like. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from C and J Entertainment. From the very beginning with deciding on songs and timelines, they were spectacular. Everyone that we worked with in preparations was helpful, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. Having their assistance and advice alleviated a lot of my stress. At the actual reception, our DJ Lenny was great. We had an issue with timing because the mother of the groom wasn't going to be available on time for the mother-son dance, and he quickly and easily just made some adjustments so that everything worked out flawlessly. It was a great reception and a lot of the credit has to go to Lenny.

We got a great deal with this company. They are reasonably priced and very professional. Our DJ Nathan was great. Most of my guests at my wedding were older folks because it was mainly family and then probably about 20 people out of the 90 were younger couples and friends we had invited. Nathan played music for all age groups and was really good at getting everyone up there to dance. Although most of the older folks were more into jazz and classical which was our music during dinner, Nathan knew how to get the older floks up there at least a couple of times and for the first few dances, after that it was more the younger crowd. If you want a company that is affordable, very professional and accommodating, then I would recommend C&J Entertainment. If you go with them ask for Nathan or Chris because they are the main DJ's and do a great job. Thanks again Nathan we really enjoyed having you.

Going with C&J was definitely our "Wedding Splurge". After meeting with Chris, My husband and I knew we needed to have these guys at our wedding and we moved ALOT of money around in our budget so that we could have them. Chris is hilarious and had tons of ideas for songs we could do for various dances. He gave us a rough outline of the timing of our event and assured us that who ever was our DJ would make sure that the event ran smoothly. Chris spent a lot of time with us planning songs and making sure we were comfortable with everything. We ended up having Carl as our DJ and he WAS AWESOME!! He played all of the songs that we wanted, did not play the songs we did not want and selected songs appropriate for our guests. Our dance floor was crowded the entire night because he just continually played great songs. This however, is not the main reasons why we loved Carl so much. First of all, both my husband and I have difficult last names to say. I was worried that he would pronounce our names wrong but he made sure that he said everyones names correctly. Secondly, Carl was great because throughout the night he would continually communicate to my husband and I on how we thought things were going and also what songs and events were coming up. For example at one point in the night when we were dancing he came up to us and said "alright guys I am going to play two more songs and then we will do the cake cutting.. hows that sound to you?" It was nice that he was constantly receptive to our feedback and was flexible. Lastly, Carl did something that was SO very special to my husband and I. In my father's toast he mentioned how important NC State (our alma mater) was because that is where we met and spent most of our relationship, although we no longer live in North Carolina. By the time toasts were over, Carl had somehow found our fight song on the internet and played it while we were finding our seats for dinner. This is something we could have never TOLD Carl to do but something he did because he is amazing at his job. I would highly recommend C&J. They are definitely worth the money.

Awesome! Perfect! Choose them! Seriously. Exceptionally professional, responsive to requests, and impeccable judgement when filling in the gaps. New Year's Eve wedding comes with great expectations. C&J exceeded all of them, and we all danced the night away to perfect music. Thank you!

Our DJ Marc went above and beyond to make everything exactly as we wanted it to be. He was even able to find obscure songs at the last minute to help the MOH with her speech, (after checking with us to make sure it was what we wanted!) Overall, he made the night great without requiring us to do anything. We did not want many of the typical DJ-based activities (garter toss, first dances, etc) and he did not force the issue. He was great to work with and we recommend him and C&J very highly. (We had him for five hours, plus additional A/V equipment for our cocktail hour AND ceremony.)

C&J Entertainment did an excellent job! The dance floor was always packed and they did a great job of playing a variety of music for all ages. Everyone at the wedding complimented the DJ and said he was the best. Chris was great to work with, quality of equipment was great, the sound was excellent in high ceiling venue (no echoing) and very friendly. I would highly recommend C&J Entertainment.

Karl was our DJ and he was fantastic. Mid-wedding we requested that he play things that deviated from our list and he was happy to oblige. Before he made any changes he ran it past me (the bride) to double check if it was ok. Karl was very classy and kept the mood in a very "party" atmosphere, but without being intrusive. I had a great experience and am so happy with the music at our reception!

Chris Temple from C&J Entertainment absolutley made our wedding the best day ever!! We had seen Chris at a friends wedding and never left the dance floor. After our wedding, the only complaint from family and friends was that the dance floor wasn't big enough. From toe tapping cocktail hour music to classy dinner music to getting people out and enjoying the mood of the event .. there is no doubt we picked the perfect DJ! We wouldn't have changed a thing!!! Do it, you won't regret it!

From the beginning C & J was extremely professional. Chris took us through the schedule of the night and helped us in choosing songs that would help everyone to have fun. At the actual wedding, multiple people approached me on the dance floor and asked how we found the DJ and that the music was amazing!! We added an extra hour to our reception and we are SOOO glad we did. We basically had to kick people out by the end of the night. No one was ready to stop dancing. One of my favorite parts of the night was watching my in laws dancing their butts off on the dance floor which is something I never would have thought would happen. Chris set the mood for the whole night and made my reception exactly what I wanted it to be: an amazing party with every person I love in the world!

I highly recommend Chris Temple and C&J Entertainment for DJ services. Our experience at my daughter's wedding was AWESOME!!!! Chris was amazing and helpful from the first contact we made last December. He's great to work with and I greatly appreciate his professionalism, attention to every detail, flexibility and overal expertise. At the wedding, he played great music and transitioned well from cocktail hour and the reception. My guests commented on how great our DJ was and asked for his name. Chris truly Rocked the evening!!!!

Working with Chris and Nathan were a blast. We just loved our DJ Lenny. He did an awesome job, the dance floor was hot all 5 hours of our reception. Guest came to me at the end and said how great everything was but the DJ really brought it all together. Thanks guys!!!

We had a great experience with C&J. After reading numerous great reviews and meeting with Chris one time, we signed on with them right away. Chris is knowledgeable and experienced and gave us a lot of great suggestions and things to think about. Nathan was our DJ for the wedding and he was also great to work with. I had a number of phone conversations and email communications with him the week of the wedding to nail down all the details. We requested a custom song mix that they put together for us and even tweaked a few times until it was just right. The day of the wedding went great and our dance floor was packed all night. I was really impressed with the quality of the sound and how Nathan would check in with me from time to time to make sure everything was to my liking. Our whole event was running behind, but we still fit everything in and had plenty of time for dancing. We have since received a number of compliments on our DJ and songs played at our wedding.

Many of my guests asked if I picked every song because they fit us so well and made for a great evening. I was pleased to confess that the DJ picked almost every song! Will recommend them to anyone

Chris was fantastic!! He Helped select music and was able to seamlessly add our Greek dance songs into our top 20. Even my "your not using a band" in laws had a great time!

We were so pleased that we hired C & J Entertainment for our reception and especially pleased with our DJ Nathan. From booking to reception C&J is a class act. We had a mixed of age groups and Nathan kept the entire recption lively with just the right mix of songs to suit everybody. He was so helpful with information and set up, that everything went so smoothly I didnt have to give it a second thought, I could just focus on what a wonderful day it was! I dont plan on getting married again but if I do I'll be using C & J!

It was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding to use C & J. We had Chris and he was absolutely the best! We had our wedding during Hurricane Irene, had to move the time up by 4 hours, and were on the water. Through it all Chris was amazing and had such a great attitude. He even suggested we play "Rock me like a hurricane", which we ended up using for introductions. He was great to work with and got everyone dancing (of all ages and different styles of music). We briefly lost power (because of the hurricane) and when the power came on, the first thing everyone heard was "I got the power" song. It helped make what could have been a very nervous environment, light-hearted and fun. Best company and DJ ever. Trust me, you want to choose them!

We had first seen Chris at a friend’s wedding (he was great ) so we knew we would use his company. I didn’t even do any research on DJ's. Our DJ Lenny was beyond awsome.Our wedding was in the middle of hurricane Irene, due to the storm my reception venue on Kent Island actually cancelled my reception the day before so up until the last minute we weren’t sure if we would be able to find a replacement venue. We found a golf course that agreed to stay open during the storm and Lenny showed up. He played every song we had gone over, and even though we had to change up and improvise some things he was really flexible. We got so many compliments on how great he was and everyone was dancing all night .Thank you for making a bad situation into an awesome party!
