We had a horrible time connecting with Jason. The best part of his services was when he sent someone else to DJ our wedding. Something I was unaware of until after the ceremony! Jasons replacement was very good. I would not recomend Quality Entertainment.

Jason dJ'd my wedding last month in Baltimore Maryland. In addition he provided LED uplighting for our reception. Overall I was happy with the job ultimately done at our wedding. Jason is an amazing DJ and kept my entire reception dancing for hours. We had a cocktail reception in lieu of a seated dinner so this was probably no easy feat as he had more time to fill. I have received multiple compliments on his song choices. Jason also set up LED uplighting at the reception which really set up the later hours after dark for a dance feel, I think it certainly contributed to the atmosphere. The lighting especially is very affordable in comparison to competitors, at least from what I found in my research. The main reason I'm writing this review is because I think its important to know what you're getting when you hire Jason. I think he's a great guy who cares a lot about pleasing his brides. That being said, his client service could stand for some improvement. I waited for weeks at a time for him to call or email me back. He was going through a lot of reorganization before my wedding and had a lot going on so I understand a little bit of lag time however weeks is pushing it when you are in a client service industry and someone is pinning their entire wedding entertainment on you. Like I said I know he had a lot going on but this issue of him returning our calls led straight up to the wedding when we couldn't get in touch with him the day of the wedding when he was later than he said he would arrive. He did show up and he did a great job, but my husband was going nuts - thankfully no one clued me in - and I jus think you future brides need to be aware that he will not be the most responsive person but that when he does get there - he will nail the music. I would also like to emphasize that our person to person meetings went really well and he was helpful with song selections and very flexible to making our reception what we wanted instead of one of those cookie cutter cheesy djs.

Jason did a great job as the DJ for our wedding. He played a variety of music to incorporate all the generations present and because of that, he had everyone on the dance floor. Jason was great to meet with as we not only discussed the song selections for our reception, but he also provided us advice and insight on the venue and things that he has seen that have worked/not worked. I would recommend Jason to anyone looking for a DJ

Hands down, the BEST DJ in the DMV!! Pretty much killed it at the wedding and knows have to get everyone on the dance floor.

Even though my wedding day was amazing and all of my guests had a great time, looking back, the only part of my day that stressed me out was when we were 45 minutes behind waiting in the hallway because music that we needed wasn't downloaded yet. Weeks before the wedding I gave Jason some special music that I wanted him to look into and he never got around to checking it out until right before we were being announced. Time from my reception was wasted, and I was trying to keep it together. In addition, a special anniversary song I wanted was never played. I have to agree that I was also not getting my emails or calls responded to in a timely matter. Weeks would go by and many calls were made. Once we signed that contract, I felt like we were put on the back burner. It was really unfair. If you are going to run a vendor business, you have to make your clients feel like they are top priority when they need to get a hold of you. I do feel, however, that Jason was going through a transitional stage and that it was effecting him at the time. Everyone else I had spoken to before I booked him had nothing but wonderful things to say. I just really hope he doesn't let something like that happen again. I know he loves to please his clients and at the end of the day, the music was great.

These guys were amazing. We originally met with Jason but ended up having Morgan as our DJ. Both of them were involved from start to finish, gave great music selections and were very responsive. We received so many compliments about our reception music. Morgan did an amazing job of feeling out the crowd to keep the momentum going and to keep everyone dancing. Would definitely recommend Quality Entertainment.

We had Rob as our DJ for our wedding reception and he was unbelievable!! The dance floor was NEVER empty!! He was very accomodating to our every need and was a huge help the entire night. He was extremely personable, which made everything so much easier. His song selections were awesome and people are still commenting on how much fun they had dancing!! We highly recommend Rob - he was amazing!!!

Jason thank so very much for providing great music at our wedding!!!! (If there were more stars, we would give more!!!!) We had a vocalist, and Jason's sound system was able to accommodate him easily. He (the vocalist) even told me how easy it was to work with the deejay!! We would recommend the services of Quality Entertainment without hesitation as the name speaks for itself!! Jason is very professional, well-dressed, cordial, takes suggestions from his clients easily, and makes great recommendations where applicable, since his main focus is to ensure that the client(s) is(are) pleased, satisfied, and that everyone has a great time! Mother of the Groom here. I danced every dance and forgot to go back to eat the food !! Jason kept the room hopping all night. Thank you so much !!!!!

Other than the fact Jason is a Steeler Fan and we are Raven Fans, he was awesome. Jason made our wedding exactly what we wanted. He captured the vibe we were looking for and made it happen. Our guests cannot stop talking about what a great time our wedding/reception was. The Chesapeake Beach Resort staff stated it was the most fun wedding they had ever worked. Hats off to Jason for taking the reigns when he saw our wedding coordinator was failing to do her job. He immediately took notice and made things happen. Five stars to Jason, I would definitely recommend him and his services.

Jason was a fantastic DJ. Easy to work with and dedicated to making our wedding a night to remember. He kept all of the wedding guests dancing, regardless of their age and music preferences. Jason was also able to accommodate our special request of having outside musicians/singers during the ceremony. We highly recommend using him for anyone's wedding.

Jason Canaan, hands down, was our first and only choice to DJ our wedding. He was very professional and was easy to communicate with. My wife and I are firm believers that its a DJ's job to select which music to play, instead of giving him songs to play. He did not disapoint us!!! Our dance floor was PACKED the whole night and he helped make that night, the best of our lives! Jason also took pictures throughout the reception and he emailed them to us within a few weeks on the wedding, which was a very pleasant surprise! I could go on forever about Jason, but to sum it up. He is a true professional who loves what he does. He loves to make his clients happy through the work he does and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Jason will always be our first choice of a DJ for future events and we will refer him to everyone! You would be making a huge mistake not going with Jason Canaan for your event. Thank you Jason!!!

How else do I say this...Jason was AMAZING!!! Once our dance floor was open for the night it was packed all night long. I had people calling me the next morning saying that they never had such a great time at a wedding. I think alot of that is because of Jason!!! I would recommed him any time (and have recommed him already).

Jason was a fabulous DJ at our wedding. He picked great music throughout to make our wedding great. During the cocktail hour, he played big band music, which created a relaxed atmosphere. Then, when we arrived at the ballroom, and when he announced us as the new mr and mrs, he played rock and roll music, which got our guest jumping in excitement for us. When everybody was ready to dance, he felt the crowd really well, and played music that everyone danced to. Jason also went above and beyond by multi tasking, because we also celebrated our daughter's first birthday that day, and Jason video taped it. On top of really good music, Jason also brought along some beautiful uplighting to improve the ambiance of the room. Overall, we really liked Jason as our DJ. He was great to work with, and was very professional.

If you are looking for a professional quality DJ that will take care of everything sound-related and keep EVERYONE (not just the young people) out on the dance floor, look no further. We hired Jason for my daughter's wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in July 2010 and we were thrilled with his work. When you hire a DJ, you need to think about all of the little things that need to go right in addition to just playing fantastic music. Jason delivered. He made sure that the officiant and speakers at the ceremony were heard, he worked out sound and introductions with the dance troupe we had as entertainment during the cocktail hour, he set up remote sound for announcements in every room, helped us with a effective time schedule, and he even gave a great pep talk to everyone right before introductions to set the tone for an incredible reception. He worked well with everyone, including the many DJs we had at the wedding who wanted to participate in the reception. He also knows the Beach Club venue and staff well. It made all the difference. The dance floor was crowded with people who I would have never expected to dance at all. Great job playing ethnic music, reading the crowd, and keeping everyone out on the dance floor. Everyone raved about the wedding and we have Jason to thank. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Jason DJ'ed our wedding/reception on July 3, 2010, including doing our ceremony music and karaoke during the reception, and it was fabulous. Everyone enjoyed the music and he was able to get everyone out dancing- an impressive feat! I've seen too many weddings where everyone just huddled at their tables so I was glad to see everyone laughing, dancing, and having a good time on the dance floor. He also helped me negotiate a couple of touchy situations during the wedding with family and friends which was very helpful. He mixed up the dancing with the karaoke so that the karaoke didn't get too overwhelming, but no one felt left out. Jason was excellent at walking us through the whole process. He was the best of all our vendors at keeping in constant communication with us, answering our questions/concerns, and he met with us several times to come up with music (we weren't really sure what we wanted and he came up with some great ideas) and he developed a schedule for the wedding that he then handed to the wedding planner at our location (Celebrations at the Bay). He was really easy to work with, laid back, and friendly so that even when he was handling different situations at the wedding, no one got offended. We really appreciated how easy he was to work with, and how beautifully everything turned out as a result of his efforts. He even got my husband involved in the process. I think he was the only vendor my husband talked to, except the officiate because she was Jason's wife. Stacy Canaan, his wife, was our officiate. This worked out great, partially because it was helpful to have them working as a team through the process and it cut down on the amount of travel time to see vendors and partially just because we absolutely loved both of them. :)

He was pretty much the best thing that could come our way! Jason saved the day at our wedding. We had a bit of an issue with the hall during the reception and Super DJ took care of it all and was not going to settle for anything less than having it done the way we wanted it. The problem that came up was not even dealing with him, but he took it upon himself to solve the issue. This could not have meant more to me! Also, I had people coming up to me at the wedding and after commenting on how amazing Jason was. We gave out all of his business cards that he brought to the wedding because people were so impressed with his work. These people include my brother in law, father in law, friends, and other family members of all ages. Jason can handle last minute changes and anything else that can make the couple's day the best it possibly can be. Once again Jason going out of his way for us was when he ordered a CD from Florida from some no-name guy that my mom and I danced to. He was simply amazing! Finally, although all the other things mentioned are awesome about Jason, the best thing about him is that he gets so excited for the couple getting married. He makes you feel like you are his friends and that he wants the best for you. I LOVED that he got excited for different things that were happening for us!! It made me feel that we were not just some wedding that he was playing music for, but friends that he cared for and wanted to make happy. I have and will keep recommending Jason to anyone that I come across that needs a DJ for ANY occassion!!!

Jason made our wedding reception spectacular. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing when it came to entertainment. Everything went according to plan, and he was flexible enough to accommodate some last-minute additional announcements. The music he played was a great mix and appealed to all age groups. I think the best compliment I can give is that at the end of the reception, I saw one of my guests go up and ask Jason for his card. I wish the party could have kept going!

Very professional, very easy to work with, understood exactly what we wanted, made great suggestions, our guests raved over the excellent music selections! We loved working with Jason! He truly made our wedding day a billion times more than what we could ever imagine!

Originally, we were going to have a friend that's a club DJ do our wedding but wanted to interview some other "wedding" DJs first. We wanted an experienced wedding DJ that wasn't a total cheeseball. After meeting with a few DJs or even just hearing their voices on the phone, it seemed like we were going to end up using our friend after all. Jason was the last person we met with and thank god we didn't give up hope before then. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and down-to-earth. He even burned a CD of potential first dance songs that seemed to fit what we were looking for. He was extremely accommodating during the entire planning period and was available to help answer questions and prepare the flow of the night. The day of our wedding was seamless!!! We had a mixed group of our parents and friends, but everyone danced together the entire time. I don't even like dancing, but didn't sit down once. Everyone commented about how much fun they had and how great of a job Jason did. Even months after the wedding, people still were commenting about how much fun they had, which was truly due to the vibe and atmosphere that Jason provided. He's just AWESOME!!!
