Frank was our DJ for our 5 May wedding in Bethesda, MD. We cannot say enough positive things about him. He adhered to our playlist desires while supplementing them with appropriate other songs. He was extremely responsive and accommodating prior to the event and during - we fell about an hour behind schedule and he helped us reorganize and get things in order without being intrusive or obstructive. He wasnt just a good DJ - he was also experienced and smart in the event execution and we needed that. He struck the perfect balance of being a fabulous DJ but staying in the background and not making himself the star of the show. By the end of the night (a 6 hour reception) we were all exhausted but multiple times I heard my friends say "well I want to sit down but I can't miss THIS song". We are very grateful to have found him and highly recommend him to anyone needing a wedding DJ.

Terrific DJ. Classy and organized. He kept the evening running on track. He has you fiill out a wedding planner document which makes it easy to plan out the reception. He thinks of the little things that you might not think of.

Simply outstanding. Frank Young is a thorough professional, quick to answer our questions, make timely suggestions on music, and acted as an unofficial MC at our reception. He is unfailingly polite and was very responsive to our needs. Once the dancing started at the reception, he kept the dance floor full and the energy high. We had a great party, and it was due in large part to Mr.Young. I highly, highly recommend DJ Frank Young as your DJ.

Frank did a fantastic job of including songs we requested and also adding in others that fit the atmosphere of our evening perfectly. He was excellent with helping the timeline of the evening run smoothly and was more than helpful in not just DJ-ing, but with any other little thing we needed help with during our reception. The volume of music was perfect for each part (cocktails/dinner/dancing), and he really kept the dance floor moving until the last song! Would recommend him to anyone without a doubt! Thank you!

There are not words to describe how great Frank was as our dj. The dance floor was never empty and the party just kept going. He was great at staying on schedule and playing the types of music we requested. When a random song was requested by a guest, he was able to download it at the wedding and play it immediately. Frank was very responsive to our requests and did not miss a beat. He was very professional. If you are choosing a dj for your wedding, pick Frank!

DJ Frank Young did exactly what we wanted and because of him our reception had the tone we wanted. I heard from every single guest you had the best DJ and that they enjoyed him so much. He was also present for our ceremony and did a great job. He knows a ton about music and makes sure to know ideal times for the bride and groom. He is a great person to work with - as you can tell by all the great reviews. In addition, of all the DJs I looked at he was the only one that held his winter discount even though it was New Years' Eve. There is no review good enough!

DJ Frank provided impeccable service for our wedding, and I would recommend him without hesitation. We could not have been more pleased with the attention to detail and calm professionalism he brought. He was quick to respond to initial email inquiries, and very flexible and patient with working out music selections. I was really impressed that he tracked down the more obscure recommendations I threw at him, from 1970s Brazilian pop to vintage Western Swing, to psychedelic DC blues. He listened to our ideas and concerns for the overall feel of the evening, and made it happen exactly as we pictured. During the wedding, he worked seamlessly with the coordinator to keep things moving along, helping to orchestrate the entire evening through the various events (cocktails, first dance, toasts, exits). DJ Frank ensured that the music and the whole rhythm of the evening were perfect.

I love Frank Young. He was the first DJ I met with and I cancelled the rest of my meetings because I knew he was it right away. He is super flexible - will play a list of songs you give him or figure out what best suits the crowd himself and play that. We were somewhere in between. I tried to be really organized but I sent him an outdated timeline before the wedding and it could have been a disaster. But Frank compared notes with the venue beforehand and calmly approached me to say "No big deal, but we have a different order of events..." His calmness definitely made all the difference and we all got on the same page in 20 seconds. He also would quickly and unobtrusively keep me updated on how we were doing with time. He came over at the end of dinner to say that we were a little behind since the speeches ran long and if we wanted he would go ahead and start the open dancing before dessert to get back on schedule. Most importantly, he played great music. I would recommend Frank to everyone! Thanks to him, I had absolutely zero stress about the music - one of the most important parts of a wedding!

We booked Frank solely on his reviews alone and it's nice to know you can 100% rely on what you read. He was incredibly professional and did everything we asked for during our wedding ceremony and at the reception. I highly recommend Frank. You absolutely can't go wrong!

Frank Young was an awesome DJ! He played all of our requests and threw in some of his own which fit perfectly. He kept the party going. He is very organized and worked well with the other vendors. In addition, he is a great guy. We were happy we chose him for our wedding!

This review is long overdue (I was married in Sept 2011). Frank is absolutely wonderful! I was planning my wedding out of state and was only able to communicate with him via email/phone. He was so thoughtful and professional the entire time we worked together. Needless to say our dance floor was packed the entire night ;) I highly recommend using Frank, he's fantastic.

DJ FRANK WAS AMAZING! At first my husband and I thought we wanted to pick out all the songs but soon found we had no time for this so we let DJ Frank pick all the music and it was fantastic. I don't think I have ever seen my family dance so much. Poor Frank had to deal with my crazy family and he did it with a smile on his face. I had the best time on the dance floor.

Frank Young was amazing at our wedding! He helped keep us on schedule, provided great equipment for both the ceremony and the reception, and was easy to work with! I would highly recommend him for any DC-area brides or special events and would definitely choose to work with him again!!

Frank did an amazing job at our wedding. He was organized, on time, and was very respectful of my bride's wishes. Frank is the perfect DJ if you are looking for professionalism. We never had to worry about when things were happening, Frank would always appear that the perfect time and give us heads up to the next scheduled event like the dances with parents or the cake cutting. He was also incredibly respectful, unlike some over the top DJs that try and talk to much or pick songs that they like, Frank made it all about my bride. His timing was perfect and he never strayed from the songs shes likes to dance to. Overall I would recommended Frank Young to anyone looking for a wedding DJ that will guarantee a good time.

Frank did an excellent job as the DJ at our wedding. He got the party going with some upbeat music, and had my guests dancing the whole reception. He is very good at maintaining a schedule, and is very helpful. I am still getting compliments on his service.

The DJ was an integral part of our wedding - because he was going to be doing the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. We also had some specific needs - I wanted certain songs for each part of the processional, we had 2 separate cocktail rooms which needed music during the cocktail hour (which were separated by the ballroom where the ceremony was, and which they flipped to be the reception), we had a photo slideshow, we had the bridal party entrance introudctions, a speech by my Mom (requiring microphone and an announcement), a blessing, toasts by the MoH and Best Man (again requiring microphone and announcements), our first dance (which was half a slow song; then half a fast song), the parent dances, and the cake cutting (more announcements). We needed the DJ to really be the "master of ceremonies" and ensure announcements were made at the right time, beyond playing the music. Frank did a GREAT job at all of the above. I had several changes throughout the planning process in terms of the timing of events, as well as some of the announcements, and he flexed with all of it without a problem. The ceremony went off exactly as planned, with all the right songs played at each part of the processional (one song for the parents walking in, one song for the bridesmaids and ringbearers, then one song for me and my Dad, then another song for exiting). He worked with our officiant and Hotel Coordinator at making sure everything was timed correctly. Frank had a second set of wireless speakers for one of our cocktail rooms and then an iPod with speakers for the other room to make sure there was music in both rooms during the cocktail hour. Frank got all the bridal party introductions perfect, got the transition in our first dance perfect, as well as all the other announcements. He played all the music we wanted, and got everyone dancing. Everyone had a fun time out on the dance floor and he kept it going. He made sure to come up to us at the key moments to make sure we were ready for dancing, cake cutting, etc. Frank was professional, easy going, worked well with all of our vendors, and was reasonably priced. We really appreciated the job he did to make sure everything went according to plan!

Frank was great to work with. He was very professional and very flexible - my fiance and I were not very organized and Frank was able to roll with that without batting an eye. He really helped us to keep everything on schedule at the reception. And the music he played was great - we gave him a list of some must-play and do-not-play songs, and he was really able to pick up on our musical tastes and build a good playlist from there for both the cocktail hour and the dancing.

Frank was a pleasure to work with. We had some very detailed ideas for wedding party introductions, and certain songs to be played, and everything went off perfectly. Frank was very organized, and asked all of the right questions to make sure that he was handling everything according to our vision. One of our biggest concerns was the timing of everything throughout cocktail hour and the reception, and Frank was on point with everything, working dilligently with our other vendors so we didn't have to worry about anything. Frank kept our reception rolling smoothly, and the dance floor was packed the entire night, which was exactly what we were looking for. Frank worked with us to tailor the evening to our specific requests, and we couldn't be happier!
