Chesapeake Strings provided music for my ceremony and cocktail hour. They were prompt, professional, and sounded great. Also, with only a week to go before the ceremony, I decided I wanted my niece to sing with Chesapeake Strings accompanying her. They were so flexible and in that final week made an arrangement for a song that I wanted, got me the sheet music and a digital recording that I could send to my niece to practice with. Furthermore, the came early the day of the ceremony in order to practice the song with my niece a few time beforehand. I would definitely recommend Chesapeake Strings for any event.

Chesapeake Strings was wonderful to work with! They were organized, professional and flexible. Elizabeth provided a wonderful checklist, guideline and timeline that proved invaluable. They were able to arrange additional music for us that were just beautiful....Seasons of Love was incredibly moving. Our guests commented on the trio we had contracted for.

Elizabeth and Chesapeake Strings were fabulous for our wedding ceremony/cocktail hour. While I didn't hear too much of their music directly (as I had other things on my mind!), I received many wonderful compliments from our guests.

Absolutely wonderful. I had so many people tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been too and Chesapeak Strings was a HUGE part of that. There music was amazing without flaw and worth every penny. I highly recommend Chesapeak Strings!!!!

Elizabeth is a pleasure to work with! She is very responsive to emails and phone calls. She responds back within 24 hours! Her and her team is very flexible and accommodated as much as possible, especially, since the ceremony was mostly in Korean. Also, the team was very professional with contracts and timeliness. Quality of service and value was up to par. Totally recommend them!

Elizabeth was amazing to work worth. She worked with us and allowed one of our friends to sing along to the trio during the ceremony. We highly recommend Chesapeake Strings!

Elizabeth from Chesapeake Strings was great, and I would recommend her to any bride!
We had a stringed duo play during our ceremony and cocktail hour. The day of the wedding everything was perfect. The music was beautiful but did not take over the ceremony in any way. We had many compliments on the music and the musicians.
We also requested a song that was not on their list, so Elizabeth had to arrange the song for us. We worked collaboratively and Elizabeth was very receptive to all comments. She was very responsive every time I emailed her. She really put my nerves at ease, which is not easy to do!

Chesapeake Strings played the prelude and ceremony music as well as the music during cocktail hour for my recent wedding. They also accompanied the soloist who sang during my ceremony. All I have to say is... perfection. I'm fairly picky when it comes to music as I play multiple instruments and I was absolutely thrilled with Chesapeake Strings. It was so wonderful to have both the classical music I wanted for my ceremony and a different take on some newer favorites, too. (One of my friends at the wedding: "I can't believe your trio is playing Coldplay... that is so cool!") They even arranged a song for me that my parents used as their recessional, so that we could use it too. Elizabeth made everything super easy, which any bride knows is the best thing in a vendor. They definitely get my highest recommendation.

Our cello and violin duo from Chesapeake Strings was fantastic. The group was super easy to communicate with (we did everything through email) and they have an extensive song selection on their website. Additionally, the group was willing to learn and play songs not on their current playlist. The sound was beautiful and perfect for our small church wedding. Very professional and highly recommended.

I was instantly attracted to Chesapeake Strings because of there great website that offers samples of their music. I also like that they are very upfront with their pricing. They were very responsive every time I emailed and extremely accommodating. On the day of the wedding they arrived in plenty of time and sounded exquisite. I only had them play before and during the ceremony and they left the premises quickly and quietly.

I was more than pleased with Chesapeake Strings - they were fantastic. Elizabeth, who is one of the musicians and also coordinates their weddings, was incredibly responsive, helpful, and friendly. It was a pleasure to work with them throughout the planning process, and they answered all of our questions and offered guidance whenever we needed it. We had a string duo, and the sound during the ceremony was really lovely. Particularly given their competitive pricing, I was thrilled. I'd highly ecommend them to anyone looking for a string duo or trio.
