Our cello and violin duo from Chesapeake Strings was fantastic. The group was super easy to communicate with (we did everything through email) and they have an extensive song selection on their website. Additionally, the group was willing to learn and play songs not on their current playlist. The sound was beautiful and perfect for our small church wedding. Very professional and highly recommended.

We hired the Chesapeake Strings for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and it was so perfect. Elizabeth was such a wonderful person to work with. So nice, honest and accomodating. Very flexible and it was the best decision we made chosing this group for our wedding. Loved their presence. I hightly recommend this group!

I was instantly attracted to Chesapeake Strings because of there great website that offers samples of their music. I also like that they are very upfront with their pricing. They were very responsive every time I emailed and extremely accommodating. On the day of the wedding they arrived in plenty of time and sounded exquisite. I only had them play before and during the ceremony and they left the premises quickly and quietly.

I was more than pleased with Chesapeake Strings - they were fantastic. Elizabeth, who is one of the musicians and also coordinates their weddings, was incredibly responsive, helpful, and friendly. It was a pleasure to work with them throughout the planning process, and they answered all of our questions and offered guidance whenever we needed it. We had a string duo, and the sound during the ceremony was really lovely. Particularly given their competitive pricing, I was thrilled. I'd highly ecommend them to anyone looking for a string duo or trio.

Chesapeake Strings was probably my easiest vendor to work with. They're very responsive by email, they have an extensive repertoire, and they're willing to arrange any pieces not currently on their repertoire. The music at our ceremony was perfect, and the trio was very professional--we couldn't have asked for more!

We used Chesapeake Strings for our wedding ceremony and they made the ceremony. The sound was incredible! I wish we had videoed the ceremony so I could hear them again. I had so many guests come up to me and comment on how much they enjoyed the music. We chose pop songs and they were fresh, but were still so classic with the string trio sound. I couldn't be happier to use them. Elizabeth was so responsive and made everything so easy. Thank you so much!!

Chesapeake Strings was a fantastic company to work with, very responsive to questions/concerns, and proactive about reaching out to me about issues I hadn't even thought of! It was also fantastic that they were willing to arrange any song for only $40 (including Such Great Heights), which really made our ceremony unique.

We LOVED the Chesapeake Strings and are so happy we decided to hire musicians for our ceremony. They are not only professional, responsive, and flexible, but they are truly gifted musicians. My husband has a musical background and was very impressed with the quality of their sound. They play everything from classics to modern day music. There is nothing better than having live music to compliment one of the most loving, highly emotional, and memorably moments of your life. We ABSOLUTELY recommend them to others!

What a fabulous trio! Although I wasn't able to hear all of the music played, I heard nothing but GREAT things about you all. In my opinion, there is a completely different mood setting when you compare a DJ's ceremony music to Strings. I was so excited when my now husband agreed to a String Trio! I searched for one right away. When I came across local's Chesapeake Strings, Elizabeth was more than friendly and accommodating. She answered all my questions promptly and professionally. While I was finishing getting ready on my big day, I started to get emotional when I heard them play -- it was so beautiful, it made it all real for me in that moment. I received many compliments on their performance! I would recommend Chesapeake Strings to every soon to be bride and groom!
