Ceremonies by Bill

I cannot say enough great things about Bill! He is an amazing speaker and many guests commented about the message they took away from his ceremony! I really enjoyed working with Bill! He was so flexible... we were going to write our own vows but I emailed him the night before the wedding asking if he could use the standard vows instead.. he came up with a very touching set of vows! I am truly appreciative of Bill and all that he did! He led our rehearsal and made us laugh! He is truly a great guy!

Bill is absolutely amazing!! He is funny, down to earth and really cares about the couple he is working with. After you fill out a short info packet he writes a customized ceremony for you which you can then review and he will even give you options about parts of the ceremony that you can pick between. He gave us two choices for the vows and rings part of the ceremony and other special pieces that you can choose to include or exclude. Overall I would highly recommend Bill!!!! 10 stars if it was an option!!

We love Bill! He made our ceremony a day to remember. When we had our first meeting with him you could tell he wanted to get to know us so he could offer suggestions for our special day. We found him on WeedingWire and had read prior reviews. We can say without a doubt, if you use Bill to perform your ceremony you will be happy.

Bill was perfect!

FANTASTIC! Bill officiated our ceremony and was perfect. He was serious but added a little bit of humor to make everyone laugh. He was easy to work with and wrote a beautiful ceremony. If you don't want worry about the ceremony I would get Bill to officiate.

Bill was a very pleasant and gracious officiant. We are a blended family and he provided alternatives to allow us to fully incorporate our family, including our children (and our dog) in the wedding ceremony. He maintained a respectful command of the timing of the ceremony and was actually quite witty and funny. He added much character and reverence to our beautiful day. I would certainly recommend him to others.

Bill was very helpful in putting together the ceremony for our wedding. We were able to combine his suggestions and our own ideas to come up with the perfect ceremony. We also got a copy of the ceremony on pretty paper to keep after the wedding. I would recommend Bill as an officiant to anyone.

We found Bill Duffy for our officiant through our ceremony and reception venue, the Gramercy Mansion, where he works. Prior to the wedding, he sat down with us and discussed what type of nondenominational ceremony we'd like to have and gave us an assortment of readings to choose from. I had previously read on Wedding Wire and agree, to some extent, that Bill has a dry sense of humor that may leave some people nonplussed. Nonetheless, he was very kind and professional. He ran through everything with the wedding party during our rehearsal without giving too much away (like the rose ceremony for the moms) and on the wedding day, officiated our ceremony with the appropriate mix of seriousness and levity, subtly cuing us to make it appear that we knew what we were doing! We would certainly recommend Bill, particularly if you're getting married at Gramercy.
