Ceremonies and Celebrations

I picked Ginny from WeddingWire because I liked her sunshiney look in her picture. On the phone, she was personable, so I had my fiance call her too to discuss payment details and get a feel for her. He liked her, so we set up an in-person meeting that turned out to be a lot of fun. She even dug up yellow flowers from her yard, which are now growing in our back yard!Ginny emailed us a questionnaire asking about our relationship, how we met, wedding parties, personal values, spiritual beliefs, wishes and peeves, what kind of ceremonies we might like included, etc. We filled it out together and it was a helpful start to discussion. Then she sent us a beautiful draft ceremony that was moving and poetic. It really reflected water themes, which are central to how we met and our relationship itself. Editing the draft together, we had an emotional breakthrough that pulled us closer. Since we were writing vows ourselves, she sent us several documents of examples of wedding and ring vows. We adapted vows to "repeat after me" and also adapted a verse that we recited together. All in all, our ceremony and vows were our favorite part of our wedding. Many guests commented afterward how moving, genuine, and unique our ceremony was, and that they actually enjoyed listening to it. We were incredibly proud to say things that really represented our relationship, values, personalities, and feelings, and these all started with Ginny!

Ginny is so kind and personable.We felt as if we had known her for years.Being that I am out of state, most communication with Ginny was via email and phone calls. She was always quick to respond. She supplied us with many ideas and vows to choose from which always helps when you know what you want to say, but not sure how to say it... Ginny is great!!! My husband Pat and I feel lucky and blessed to have had someone of Ginny's caliber play such an integrall part in one of the most important days of our lives.

Stop looking...if you are looking for an officiant that will take care of all your needs, will pay attention to detail, will treat you like family...then Ms. Carson is the one for you...she was kind, warm, and welcoming of suggestions, while providing her own special recommendations. She was attentive to our needs, made us a wonderful memory book for our ceremony, and eased any worries leading up to, and the morning of, our big day! If there was an opportunity to award more stars, we would! Highly recommended...

I can not say enough good things about working with Ginny. As our officiant, she was everything we could have asked for and more. She is personable, friendly, and makes you feel like more than a client. I highly recommend using her as your officiant. We liked Ginny from the very beginning when we met her to talk about our ceremony! She is a very warm person, friendly and professional. She really makes you feel special for her. I am Peruvian and my husband is Dutch. We both were a little bit lost about how weddings are performed here in USA and wanted a ceremony that could show how much we love each other and, to our friends (a very international group), that it was very important for us their presence in our wedding. So Ginny totally understood what we wanted and we just loved her. Everybody in the wedding was asking us where we found her. The truth is we were very lucky! We highly recommend her services. Ginny did a great job! She was short and sweet and not sappy (very appreciated) and went at a pace I could actually remember what she was saying for me to repeat which considering my attention span, was fantastic. She made our ceremony exactly what we wanted and envisioned.Thank you Ginny.

Ginny was amazing! My husband and I were planning a last minute wedding but she was able to work with us to create a beautiful ceremony. She listened to our wants and needs and understood exactly what we were looking for. She went above and beyond by providing lots of information about the ceremony, applying for a marriage license and how to change your name afterwards. We are so blessed to have met Ginny and that she was the one to perform our ceremony.

Simply put, my husband and I adored Ginny! We found her to be warm, personable, funny and just a sweetheart!!!We are so pleased that she officiated our ceremony. The entire process was simple, and we really were able to have the ceremony that we wanted, customized to the two of us. I personally felt very comfortable just because she was there. I just remember telling her a million times "I am so happy that you are here!" She took care of our rehearsal, and really was a calming influence in the midst of the organized chaos that sometimes happens in the last 48 hours leading up to a wedding.We recommend her services highly. We were so pleased with our decision..We both have different religious backrounds, & Ginny was able to accomedate our needs. We expressed how we didn't want either family to be left out but, as we were creating our new life together we wanted it to be special for us. Ginny, has an extensive set of vows, ring vows, & ceremonies to choose from. This was perfect for us because we could create our cermony without the pressure of writing it ourselves. I contacted Ginny to officiate the wedding for my Mom. Ginny responded promptly and I immediately felt a connection with her. She personalized the ceremony to reflect the relationship between my Mom and her fiance perfectly. Our guests were very touched by her words. She was wonderful.

Our ceremony was strictly NON religious and she was more than happy to work with us to create our perfect ceremony. Her resources were helpful aids as we wrote our own ceremony and vows. The day of she is calming and delivered a romantic ceremony that was specific to my husband and I. We highly recommend her for any ceremony you need an officiant at.

Ginny was fantastic! Because of a blizzard, we were unable to have the wedding on the day selected. We called and she was so amazingly flexible and ended up doing the ceremony on another day. She was wonderful at helping us prepare the ceremony and very open minded when it came to our ideas. She also gave us great ideas, and the ceremony was perfect.Thank you Ginny, you saved our wedding! Ginny is excellent, My husband and I know her through a family friend and even though she had not known us very long she was able to put together a ceremony that made it seem like she had known us for years. Ginny is the best! You will never find anyone as warm, sweet and professional to officiate your wedding. She was entirely on top of everything. She was very prompt designing our ceremony after meeting with us and hearing our vision. Her first draft was spot on and only need very small minor adjustments, which is a huge time saver for a bride doing everything herself. The day of she is supportive, helpful and kind. We love her so much for who she is and what she does, and everyone at my wedding couldn't have agreed more. She spent some time with my family at the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and reception, and we fell everyone fell in love with her amazing personality. She really became a part of our family rather than just someone we hired.My husband and I aren't very religious, so we didn't have a family priest or anything like that to officiate our wedding. After lots of searching I found that a lot of the people offering an officiant service have very outlined specific ways of running your ceremony. Ginny works very closely with you to design a highly personalized perfect ceremony, and she provides any type of support you'd need along the way. She even gave us cute little decorative copies of our vows (which we wrote ourselves). She gives you a souvenir version of your ceremony afterwards to. She took care of sending in all the paperwork right away while I was on my honeymoon. Don't go with anyone else. She is perfect, look no further!
