When we started working with Captain Jack our other band we'd booked had just canceled on us (three months before our wedding). We had previously seen Captain Jack and liked them but were worried they had too many people to fit in our smaller venue. When it came time to pick someone else we decided to ask if they thought they could make it work, because at that stage we wanted the best and were hopeful that despite our previous disappointment maybe this was our chance to get the band we had wanted first. The band was awesome they got in touch with us almost right away talked to the venue for us (priceless when planning a wedding) and made sure everything would work out. They handled all our communications with that attention to detail and professionalism (even with a touch of a sense of humor...also very much appreciated during a stressful time). The day of the wedding they were outstanding. They had everything ready. We didn't even meet them until right before our introductions but that was fine b/c they had finalized everything to the very smallest details and were well prepared. They played two amazing sets for us and by the end of the night EVERYONE was dancing it was impressive considering the crowd (grandma, family, friends, EVERYONE). They even told us that our speeches ran over but they wanted to make sure we got all our songs so they had already talked to the venue and we were approved to run a little late. You can't beat service like that. I will tell you I feel so lucky to have had a second chance to choose my band for my wedding because I know it would not have been as amazing if we had listened to our first worries about their size. They were one of the best parts of our wedding and we've been told so by almost all of our guests. Do yourself the favor and pick them first.

Captain Jack is a great wedding band. My husband and I highly recommend them. Leading up to the wedding they were professional and completely flexible. I switched plans on them a few times and they adapted to my every whim and want. And then the day of the wedding they rocked the house. They were amazing. They have a great set list, played everything that I asked them to play, and the dance floor was full until the very last minute of our wedding b/c they were so good. People are still talking about them. And the best part about them is that they are very reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and hire Captain Jack for your wedding. You won't be sorry!
