What more can I say than the cake was beautiful and delicious?! We were able to meet with the baker a month ahead of the wedding and get a taste of the product. She had a wonderful collection of past cakes that gave us the perfect idea of how to design our own unique cake for our winter wedding. It was expertly crafted and looked so beautiful. Now I know why my brother used them for his wedding! And I dare you to go in for a tasting and not walk out of there without some of the other delicacies they have for sale!

My wedding cake was perfect! It was exactly what I wanted and looked so much better than I had imagined it would. The cake tasted wonderful, all of my guests commented on it, I also had a diabetic cake made for my wedding and my guests told me that it was delightful! All members of the staff were easy to work with. I would highly recommend cake and confections!

The owners are simply amazing! Our cakes were not only gorgeous and quite reasonably priced, but absolutely delicious. Our guests loved the cakes, and so did we. I will use Cakes and Confections for every single special event in my life because they are just wonderful.

Julianne and her husband were fantastic to work with! From the start at our very first tasting, I knew they would do a great job. Their cakes and pastries are AMAZING and we got so many compliments at our wedding. The wedding cake was delicious (we had a bit left over and the groomsmen finished it the next morning for breakfast!) and an absolute work of art. I had a few very specific requests for our wedding cake and Julianne made sure it turned our perfectly. My husband is in the Navy and they were able to make the groom's cake an exact replica of the plane he flies - it was perfect. Julianne was always professional and willing to work within our budget. We really enjoyed our experience with Cakes and Confections!

We ended up doing a cupcake cake for our wedding, but didn't want to spend a fortune using one of the more popular cupcake specialty places, so I'm glad I found Cakes and Confections, a small family-owned bakery in Annapolis. Their cupcakes were DELICIOUS, and Julianne and her husband were a delight to work with. We ended up choosing three different types of cupcakes--carrot cake, vanilla, and red velvet. (Personally, we did not go with the chocolate because it wasn't chocolaty enough for us.) Our guests RAVED about how good they were. Needless to say, we didn't have too many leftover cupcakes! I can't wait to go back to Cakes and Confections and get our complimentary cupcakes for our one-year anniversary :-)

Cakes and Confections Bakery is a fantastic place to provide any form of wedding bakery products. Their cake is moist, tasteful and overall delicious! It holds up for multiple days (we're still eating left-overs a few days later!) and their decorations are beautiful! Highly recommended!

Great local bakery in Annapolis. It is not much in the inside but you cannot beat the service and prices. It is great to support a family business like this one. The custom design on our cake was amazing! Also, everyone loved all of the bite-sized pastries and treats.

Michael and Julianne were so sweet and accomodating and easy to work with. It was a bit of a challenge being out of town and wedding planning, and this proved to be a challenge with Cakes and Confections, as they don't check their email in too timely a manor. However, all was figured out. We were more concerned with the taste rather than the look, but both were delivered. We were thrilled with the cake, and we are still receiving compliments that it was the most delicious wedding cake ever.

This bakery was amazing! Not only were they able to work with my budget, but they allowed us the flexibility to choose centerpiece cakes in any delightful flavor and color that we wanted. They offered many helpful suggestions as well as top quality taste. My guests continue to rave about our cakes!

My husband and I are both cake people so taste was really important - Cakes and Confections impressed even us! They also had a very reasonable delivery fee. And they were able to make sugar flowers that matched our peonies in the bouquest and centerpieces.

Cakes and Confections did such a great job with our wedding cake. We received so many compliments from our guests who loved the cake - which is typically a very unmemorable part of the wedding. It was delicious! They also offered to give us a free small cake on our one-year anniversary so that we didn't have to freeze the top of our cake. In addition, the couple that runs the bakery is incredibly nice and helpful - was a great, easy experience working with them.

We had a wonderful consultation with them and were very pleased with our cake. They were straight to the point, upfront about price, upfront about what they really thought would look right and wouldn't, and most importantly their cakes tasted the best!!! (which is the point, right!) They really listened to what type of cake we wanted, gave us suggestions, and were very accommodating when I called to make a small change. Great prices as well.
