The absolute most important thing to me on my day was having a great photographer and I did! If you want photojournalism, Be Photography is amazing. The pictures turned out great and each one was "happy". Other photography companies I had interviewed with had very boring and "sad" pictures that didn't tell a happy wedding story. These were complete opposite and what I prayed to find! :)Ricardo shot our wedding. He was very friendly and got along with everyone in the wedding as well as parents before hand. He showed up a 3 hours before the ceremony (which I felt kind of bad about since he wasnt being paid to be there until 1), but it meant so much to see how serious he was about it. He was very prepared. He knew exactly where the best lighting was outside and what part of the building he wanted to shoot at and he did a great job. He seemed to be quite the perfectionist :) he made sure shadows werent on our faces, and made sure no one was squinting, blinking etc.He also got a ton of pictures at the reception and I didn't even notice he was there. (I guess that's the whole point!) But I was so worried about finding a great photographer, and after talking with both James and Ricardo, I was comfortable, relieved and excited, right away! I recommend them for any wedding, they really know what photojournalism is!

Working with James was effortless. The pictures were fantastic! A guest of ours commented that she didn't think it would be possible to capture the energy and excitement of the day in photos, yet he did so perfectly. This was the first time I had to purchase wedding photos or even a photographer. My son Dennis was getting married and we wanted to help out. I contacted Be Photography at a request of a friend of mine and after looking at their website photos. The day of the wedding was the best!!! James was very professional and willing to take whatever we asked of him. James was our photographer and was AMAZING!!!!!! As soon as my husband and I met James we knew that he was it. He was so down to earth and made my husband happy by saying "you won't notice I'm there taking pictures". He was right! He took the most amazing pictures during the ceremony and reception but we never noticed he was there! My guests said he was the most active photographer they have ever seen and they never had to worry about taking a picture because he was always on top of it. We have so many pictures and they all turned out amazing. My family and friends are saying they are some of the best wedding pictures they have ever seen! I loved using BePhotography LLC for our wedding. Every step was professional and easy. I felt like the photographer, James really went out of his way to make our day perfect and to capture every moment. He was very nice and easy to convey my wishes to. James did a FABULOUS job. The pictures were wonderful. He was professional and responsive to all our questions. He gave wonderful suggestions and was very happy to accomodate our requests. He services were VERY reasonably priced. He allowed us to only pay for digital prints (no album required!) and we had a DVD of beautiful photos to us within three weeks of the wedding (even with the mail delay from the blizzard!). We were able to put our photos up on shutterfly (which has much more reasonable rates than Pictage for our family and friends to order prints,) and we made our own album using Apple iPhoto. We could not have asked for more. He was wonderful.

Hiring Be Photography for our wedding was the best decision we made! We received information on them from friends who said how great they were. James Berglie was our photographer, very professional, responded to every email within a few hours and best of all very inexpensive. My husband and I had to pay for our own wedding and cost was at the top of our list, it was an added surprise that he was so amazing. My brother-in-law just booked James too based on how amazing he was at our wedding.

Mr. James Berglie with BePhotography (www.bephotography.net) captured our November wedding at the Milton Inn, Sparks, MD. We were able to plan our wedding ceremony and reception in just two short months thanks to people like Mr. Berglie. His prompt, comprehensive and friendly email communication facilitated smooth and confident arrangements before and after the wedding. Mr. Berglie reworked the pricing structure substantially online for us to accommodate our timeline and small party size (he hooked it up). He catered to our needs and wasn’t at all pushy about selling us things we weren’t interested in. Mr. Berglie’s approach: “I’ll be mostly capturing the essence of the day, as a photojournalist, I lean much more towards candids than traditional posed shots, and my approach is highly unobtrusive. – However, any posed shots you require – just ask!” As he captured the ceremony and the reception he moved with the stealth of a ninja. If you’re familiar with the Milton Inn, you know it’s tiny. We could not have squeezed another person in the red room where we held the ceremony though he managed to capture the service and the audience discreetly and from all angles. We, the couple wed, didn’t even notice he was there.The pictures were edited and ready to view online in just three days! We’ve never seen such a beautiful and interesting collection of pictures. His creativity and variety of shots were impressive. Check out his pictures online, you’ll see what we mean. They’re great. He borrowed our rings to take shots with our table settings and décor, created some beautiful posed shots of us out front of the Milton Inn, and didn’t miss a moment or guest. Most pictures were developed in both black and white and color. His professionalism, promptness, laid back but attentive demeanor and his creative approach make him the perfect photographer for any special event.

My sister and I have both used James as our wedding photographer. His photographs are gorgeous and you will not be dissapointed. We have recommended him to numerous friends and they all love his work.

My husband and I commented to each other that we did not even realize James was present at the reception, yet we have hundreds of high quality images to view! James was so friendly and reliable. He communicated with us before, during, and after the wedding. We would not have minded if we noticed him at the reception since he was so friendly and down to earth. Responsiveness was quick and insightful. Be Photography's website was very helpful in seeing their photo style and noninvasive approach to photography. They were very each to talk to and the photos came out great!

James worked his butt off on the actual day of our ceremony. He was sweating bullets in the heat to get all of the awesome shots. He was a machine...b/c you didnt even know he was there and he really captured every single moment I would have wanted him to. I didnt meet with him beforehand...just over the phone and he put me at ease that he would be as casual as we wanted him to be since we had a smaller more intimate wedding. The pictures make it look like it was the event of the year....I dont think my husband and I have ever looked more elegant and more beautiful. I am so happy with the amount of pictures taken and the quality taken. James was absolutely awesome and we couldnt have chosen a better vendor for the day!He is already booked for my best friend's wedding next year!
