James did an awesome job capturing our wedding day! We had previously booked him for our engagement session and loved those pictures so much that we knew the wedding pictures would turn out great as well! We liked how James wasn't intrusive, or told us to stop and smile during our wedding, yet still got all of the important moments. James is Awesome! Choosing him as our wedding photographer was a great decision. Our pictures were great and his style fit us perfectly. James was always quick to respond to me (I always heard back from him within a few hours). His pricing is extremely accommodating. The day of the wedding he took any shots that we specifically requested, but also had his own ideas that worked out beautifully. He made everyone feel comfortable and worked very quickly during the formal shots which was helpful on a brisk fall day. At the last minute my father arranged for a horse and carriage ride, and James didn't even stutter. He was right on top of everything was able to get awesome shots of us in the carriage. He even stayed later in the day to catch some really beautiful sunset pictures.

We met with several photographers before finding Be Photography, and after the first meeting with James, our decision was made. He took the time to sit down and explain the process to us, while giving us the chance to review some of his work. His answered all of our questions and I never doubted he'd provide just what we were looking for. On our wedding day, James arrived early, after he had already visited and set up at the Church! Throughout the entire day, James was always where he needed to be to capture the moments that made our day special. Several times, after something happened, family members would say "oh we should grab the photographer so he can get a picture of that". Little did they know, James was already there, capturing the moment as it happened! We had our preview pictures just one week after the wedding, and we didn't have to wait long after that to see the rest! I couldn't believe how quickly the pictures were up online and we had our CDs in hand! We've recieved so many compliments on the photos, and I love that as we look at them (over and over again) we relive the day each time because they tell the story perfectly!

James from Be Photography did a fantastic job on capturing all of our special moments from our wedding. The quality of the photos were beyond our expectations. James took photos that were intimate while not being obtrusive. James was extremely quick to get us the photo previews as well as the CD's with all of our pictures. Our family and friends have enjoyed reliving our wedding through the moments James captured. If you ever need a photographer I would say in a heart beat, JAMES IS THE ONE!!! The best ways to describe James are; an early bird (he shows up at least 30min earlier than he says), very energetic, flexible, friendly, creative, reasonably priced, absolutely dedicated 100% in what he does! We had engagement pre-shoot and wedding day coverage by James. He was recommended by one of my husband's friends. On the very first meeting he explained everything in detail. He will give you enough time to think about he is the one (we had no doubt). He was very accessible throughout and you could even just text him and he replies right away!!! Within few days after each photo shoot, James uploaded previews on facebook and it was great that our friends and family could enjoy those awesome pics. We even received our final CD within 2 weeks after the wedding day!!! It rained on engagement photo shoot and rained/snowed on the wedding day. While my husband and I were worried about the weather, James absolutely took advantage of this messy weather and we ended up having some phenomenal shoots. James was very optimistic no matter how bad the day was which helped us to relax and enjoy the day and to have so much fun while shooting. And, the quality /creativity of his photographs are stunning. These photographs are a lifetime memories which we will always keep close to our heart till the very end, which we will share with our future children and grand children. Wedding photos were on the top of our priority list and we couldn’t ask for anything better from James! James, you nailed it and absolutely a true blessing to have you! Keep up the great work!!!

James and Ric with Be Photography were awesome. When we first met with James we were very impressed. We loved the style, the philosophy, and the work that both James and Ric had. Being able to have rights to your picture cd and not having to pay of a whole bunch of extras was awesome. We really liked being able to get exactly what we wanted without all of the fluff. Ric did a great job at the wedding, keeping everyone moving and being also being out of sight from all of the guests during the festivities. We were very pleased with how the picture came out and in such a timely manner. I would definitely use Be Photography again.

James Berglie, owner of Be Photography, did the photography for our wedding at Strong Mansion on Sugarloaf Mountain. Everything went smoothly prior to the wedding, signing the contract, payment, and discussing our plan for the day - James was very flexible and gave me the freedom to plan out the day. On the wedding day, we braved the rain with a couple of umbrellas to take posed pictures outside on the mansion property - and they turned out amazing. During the rest of the wedding and reception, I barely noticed James, but he was working hard and we ended up with almost 1,000 beautiful pictures of our wedding day. Plus we had access to all of our pictures just two weeks later! Be Photography also puts up preview pictures on FaceBook, which my family and friends loved. I am so happy with the service we received from Be Photography and will be recommending James and his company to future brides.

Best Photographer! My wedding photos were beautiful...there was a great varity of shots and all the details were captured! James was very flexible and fun to work with! Best of all we recieved our pictures in about 1 week after our wedding! He really went above and beyond our expectations!

My husband and I were SO pleased with the amazing photography James took for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. James was referred to me by a co-worker, who raved about his pictures, and after talking with him, meeting with him with my fiance, and exchanging several email, we understood why! James is extremely talented and has a way of capturing moments and creating effects that have a big wow factor. So many of our pictures look like something out of a magazine - we're having trouble figuring out which ones to print and frame!James was very flexible (weather disrupted our engagement shoot plans on several occasions). We ended up having a beautiful day and James' sunset pictures in particular were stunning. After seeing our engagement pictures, we were excited to see what James would do with our wedding photography. We had all of our wedding photos in a week and as we looked through them, we were trying to figure out how James captured so many unique angles in such a short amount of time and without us even noticing him. We didn't want a photographer who was going to be bothersome to our guests, so we were very impressed by how James was able to capture so many key moments of our day without being seen. If we had to do it all over again, we would definitely pick James again for our photography. He was honest, helpful, genuine, professional, and very talented. Thanks for everything, James!

The day of the wedding, James arrived an hour before his scheduled start time, and got right to work. He took any shots that we specifically requested, but also had his own ideas that worked out beautifully. He made everyone feel comfortable and worked very quickly during the formal shots (which was helpful on a hot summer day). He had preview pictures ready for us on Facebook 2 days after the wedding and had all 1,600 shots edited one week after the wedding. His photographs were stunning, and I have received compliments from all of my family members and friends about our wedding photos.

James was amazing to work with. He makes you feel comfortable right away and has great ideas for pictures. He even went to the church early on my wedding day, before his paid arrival time at the house, to make sure his lighting and where he would position himself would be right. Besides the posed pictures, he got great candid shots. He was everywhere during the reception, getting the right shots, but you never notice that he's there. I also received my photos very quickly after the wedding, with options of different color variations and black and white for every single picture. From beginning to end, James and Be Photography was very responsive and super easy to work with, and the best value! I would highly recommend him.

I was recently married on 7/2/2011. I utilized Be Photography because of the impressive things that I have heard along with the impressive pictures I have seen. I got my pictures back as soon as I returned from my honeymoon!!!!! Words cannot explain how happy I am with my pictures. My photographer James truly captured all of the events that took place. We couldn't be more pleased and amazed by the pictures James/Be Photography shot at our wedding! Not only is James an wonderful person, he is such a unique and gifted photographer. The poses he comes up with are so creative - my husband and I were blow away with how perfect all of pictures turned out! We also LOVED how James never missed a moment at the reception. Just when we thought the moment was over, James was able to give that moment back to us through the pictures! He flies under the radar but catches everything! James Berglie was the photographer for our wedding, and he did an outstanding job. Immediately upon meeting him, we liked his laid-back personality, could sense his passion for his work, and were sure that we wanted him to be the one responsible for documenting our wedding day as a photojournalist. He communicated with us plenty before the wedding and answered all of our questions, confirmed where he should be and when, and made sure he knew what types of photos we were hoping for. On the day of the wedding, James actually arrived over an hour early (!!!) and said he could start taking pictures then if I would like. Of course I agreed, and we were able to get some great shots before the "official" getting ready process began. Throughout the whole day and night, James was so subtle and barely noticeable...to the point where before we saw the pictures, my husband and I were asking each other, "Did you see James when we cut the cake? I don't remember him being there." Well of course he was, as we later found out when we saw our amazing photos! I think that's a wonderful quality to have to be able to be there and capture the special moments, but without being intrusive and in your face.Upon showing my photos to friends and family, EVERYONE has said how wonderful a job he did, and that my wedding photos could be in a wedding magazine. He took shots I wouldn't have thought of and added cool effects to some of the photos. We received all of our photos on CDs with rights to reproduce them, and the preview to the photos was posted on Facebook before we even got back from our honeymoon! All of this is to say that we are so glad that we had James from Be Photography as our photographer. Pictures are so important to me, and I met with many photographers before James, but he blew the rest of the options out of the water. If you want a reliable, skilled, easy-going photographer, go with James!

James did our engagement photos and Ric did our wedding photos. They were both absolutely WONDERFUL to work with! Ric did an amazing job of staying out of the way during the ceremony and reception so that it hardly seemed like he was there, but it certainly did not prevent him from taken PERFECT pictures! The pictures were on pictage just 9 days after our wedding and I have gotten so many comments on how great they are!

I have been to several weddings and I have never seen a photographer go above and beyond the way James Berglie does. From start to finish BePhotography was everything we asked for and more. They provided us with amazing photos that painted the perfect picture of our wedding day. I would highly recommend BePhotography for all occasions.

We didn't want the typical posed looking wedding pictures that you are used to seeing in wedding albums. We wanted more modern, artistic pictures. We found James through our DJ's website. His pictures were amazing, and the way he worked his pricing allowed us to pick exactly what we wanted/needed, making it easy to keep our wedding within the budget we had set. He was always quick to respond to my emails, and very laid back and easy to work with. He had our pictures back to us in 1 1/2 weeks-all edited and on a disc ready for us to print whatever we wanted. All of our friends and family are amazed by the amount of pictures we have to choose from, the shots he got, and how quickly he got them to us. We are in love with the pictures he took and are going to have a hard time choosing what pictures we want in our album. Fortunately though he has already made up a sample album for us, so we at least have something to start out with. We are so glad that we have so many pictures though, (over 800!) the day goes by so quickly... No matter how hard you try, it's impossible to take everything in and notice everything. We have lots of memories now thanks to James! He is a talented photographer and we highly recommend him!
