This is a large family run business that has been around for a long time. Heidi Green worked directly with us. She really did a great job. The food was great. If you are looking for quality food and service at a reasonable price then you need to go with Atlantic Caterers. One of the most creative things they offer is a salad bar where guests get to pick thier toppings and their sailad dressing. The salad is mixed together in a shaker and then served in a martini glass. We basically had an open bar with two specialty drinks...Strawberry Daquiri and Bailey's (mud slide). Heidi handled all the rentals for the extra tables we needed for the reception and ceremony. She handled the flowers for the food tables, sweetheart table, and cake table. She helped us with our wedding cake. We only needed to pick what we wanted. She handled all the napkins and table cloths. She made it so we didn't have to worry about anything. For appetizers, we had crab balls, shrimp, and little chicken cordon bleu. We had the salad bar. We also had a large table with a cheese and fruit display. Atlantic Caterers puts on a big event they call a tasting where you get to taste a majority of their food. It is all free. For our main food, we gave our guests a choice of Flounder stuffed with Crab Meat, 6 oz. new york strip, and linguine with meatballs in marinara sauce. There was so much food on everyone's plates that some couldn't finish. Some said they had no room left for cake. My groom was given the steak and the fish. The food was a big success. It was only around $70 a person plus all the extras you have to pay. When we arrived at our reception, Heidi was waiting for us with our specialty drinks, shrimp, and crab balls. We were able to take a break before going into the reception. That felt like heaven. During the reception, Heidi kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. She was very attentive and really wanted to make sure we were happy. When it was time for the cake cutting, she came and got us. She also supervised the cake cutting and did everything she could to make that perfect. She even handed me a napkin to wipe the frosting off of my fingers. There was nothing she could have done to make our day more special. If you want a quality caterer who cares about the food and the quality of the food as much as they care about you then you want to go with Atlantic Caterers.

Kristin Olsson is the absolute best in the business. Kristin met with us whenever we needed to and delivered everything on my daughters with list starting with the setting of the ballroom, custom orchid centerpieces, a fabulous candy bar arrangement, etc. The food was outstanding and the guests were totally blown away by the elegance and quality of their experience. You will not be disappointed.

Raoul was WONDERFUL! He not only ensured that my husband and I had a great evening, but was extremely accommodating to our guests as well. Food was great and they really went above and beyond the call of duty!

Kristin Olsen and Atlantic Catering made this family event a fabulous memory! The astetic beauty of the layout and presentation of food was fantastic. Every morsal was a savory delight. Kristin Olsson and the staff at Atlantic Catering was absolutely wonderful to work with. She helped us every step of the way and made the process really easy. All of our guests raved about how great the food was. We would definitely recommend their services to anyone we know planning an event.

Much thanks to Kristin and her team for their part in making our wedding truly spectacular! One of my biggest concerns about our venue was that the ceremony was in the same area as the reception and I really did not want to have tables visible when guests were arriving or during the ceremony. Kristin assured me that they would be able to completely turn over the space during cocktail hour, and that they did - I really had to catch my breath when I saw how lovely the space looked for the reception. It was really exactly as I had envisioned, even better, actually! Guests have raved about the food, especially the crab cakes :) Kristin was completely open to customizing the menu, and created a fabulous antipasto display and special salad at our request, she was also super accomodating when it came to serving our off-beat late night snack - it was perfect!! I do recommend that you call her rather than e-mail when you have questions, since she is extremely busy it sometimes took a little while to get a response - but rest assured, she was there giving 110% at the wedding and every detail was just as we had hoped. There were only a couple of minor hiccups during the dinner service: The meals took a bit long to come out and by the time the last table was served they had run out of some of the meals that they had requested, even though each guest's meal selection was indicated on their escort card. Also, as others have mentioned, the cake was cleared off the table pretty quickly, and people who were on the dance floor when it was served didn't get a chance to eat it. Other than those pretty minor things, I couldn't have been happier with the food & service provided by Kristin & the team at Atlantic!

Atlantic Caterers and Kristin Olsson were fantastic to work with. Our wedding reception would not have been the amazing event it was, withut the help of Kristin and her coworkers. From the professionalism of the staff, to the outstanding service, to the quality of the food, we could not have asked for more. I can only hope I get to work with Kristin and her staff again in the future.

everything with our wedding planning was wonderfull. The food was absoulutly amazzing. The service the day of was a little lacking in the means of the cake. I just seemed that once the cake was out they just wanted to clean up. To the point I only got 3 bites of my own cake. My father asked for the other flavor and was told no. Part of this was that they had two events on the same day and the guy we had been dealing with was not able to attend. We have been at other events and never had this problem. They are giving us another top layer since we wanted the bigger slices at the wedding which was great if we got to eat them.

Atlantic Caterers provided the best service and quality any customer could ask for! Kristin was very friendly, working closes with us when picking out linens, food and other items detailing the reception. Kristin was very helpful and responded timely to emails and phone calls and truly was there for us when when needed her. I would recommend Atlantc Caterers and Kristin to everyone, their food is delicious and their set ups are amazing! If you are looking for a caterer that is truly on your side and is there for the customer, I would pick them! You can not beat great food service and friendliness!

You only get one shot at doing it right and thanks to Raoul and his team, we had an outstanding wedding! The food was excellent, which continues to be validated by all of the attendee’s weeks after the wedding. Raoul was very responsive and on top of every aspect of the planning, setup and coordination of the cocktail hour and wedding reception. Raoul and his crew were constantly following up to make sure everyone was having a good time and had plenty of food and refreshments. This company is a 1st class act and we highly recommend them!

The food was amazing, the head chef kept coming to our head table making sure the food was good and seeing if we needed anything. I would use this catering company again for future parties

I was initially drawn in by their responsiveness--as I had been turned off by others' lack there of. After speaking with Kristen, I was drawn to know more. We had our tasting and we were taken back by how delicious the food was----it was the best lunch break I had ever experiened! 19 days later, people are still asking us about leftovers and who wonderful the food was! Atlantic turned my dull reception venue into a spectacular event.

I had the best wedding day experience and I owe a lot of to Raoul and Atlantic Catering!!! Very responsive, very friendly and professional, and very attentive to detail. Awesome service from the beginning to the very end. The food was great, and we are still receiving compliments from our guests. The entire process of working with this caterer definitely exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough about their excellent service! THANKYOU for making my wedding awesome!

My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased with Atlantic! Raoul was absolutely wonderful to work with. From my first inquiry and all the way through the planning process he was professional, incredibly flexible, and super responsive... really he was just downright fantastic. I changed my mind quite a few times, and Raoul just went with it. He truly put me at ease and I never once feared the day wouldn’t go smoothly. When the day arrived, everything was perfect – our reception went even more smoothly that I could have ever hoped, the food was incredible, the service was fantastic, and the room looked more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. He also made sure my husband I were taken care of on the day of our wedding and that everything was exactly how we wanted it. I highly recommend Atlantic Caterers, especially Raoul... and the crab cake! Here we are a month later and still hearing rave reviews from our guests on the food. THANK YOU RAOUL FOR EVERYTHING!!

My husband and I Enjoyed working with Atlantic Cateres, Inc. We had ideas and shared those thoughts with Ms. Kristin, who turned our thoughts into a reality, a dream come true, and made our day Sooooo Special. Atlantic Cateres took care of everything, it was no stress at all and they guranteed that our day would be Perfect and it was. We would recommend them to anyone and would use them again for another event.

Atlantic Caterers were wonderful! Raoul was incredibly responsive, answering emails immediately, even when he was on vacation. He always made us feel at ease. They do a beautiful job, but no one is pretentious Everyone at our wedding commented on how good the food was, especially the crab cakes. I am from Maryland and I've never seen so much lump crabmeat in a crab cake anywhere else. They were fantastic! They are also extremely affordable. I would use them again for a catered occasion.

Atlantic is SUPERB for catering your wedding - the food and the service are excellent! Our guests absolutely loved our menu and the servers even made sure that my husband and I were served as well so that we had an opportunity to eat at our wedding reception. And if you can get Kristin at Atlantic, do it! She is very helpful throughout your planning process and is an immaculate professional. She was there at our wedding even with a broken foot and in a cast, she is that dedicated.

Kristin, and the other professionals at Atlantic were excellent caterers for our wedding. Despite her many clients, Kristin always made time to meet with us and listen to our ideas for the food. We received several comments about how delicious the food was, how polite the staff was, and the creative ideas for décor and food displays! We were thrilled to have our own waitress, Crystal, who was very attentive throughout the evening. We would happily recommend Kristin and Atlantic Catering to do any wedding!

We absolutely loved our caterer. We knew that whatever we needed would be completed in an amazing way. Kristin was good about letting us know what needed to be done and helping us do it. We had a few special requests (like a private tasting since my then-fiance was out of state for the planning) that she accommodated. She even threw in extras, like snazzy decorations that our guests raved about. Initially, we thought the costs were higher than other companies, but we were not pleased with other caterers. Atlantic was great for communication and quality. In the end, we saved money because she helped us get deals on things like alcohol, and she provided items like a card holder (beautiful bird cage), classy toasting glasses, and a cake cutter. The food was delicious, and even better than at the tasting. We were able to find room in our budget to order the crabcakes as a part of our buffet, and were glad we did (they were a hit!). They were also good about making sure we got fed and were satisfied the entire evening. Service was polite and professional to everyone all day long. We highly recommend Atlantic, especially if you are doing a wedding at Swan Harbor. They are well-experienced with that venue and know things that you would not think about. Kristin also saw that we got a lovely wedding present, and she has continued to be pleasant after the wedding by helping us sort gifts, send pictures, etc.

atlantic cateres did so much for our wedding... they really went above and beyond on our day. the only details that were incorrect was that they forgot to place the favors on the tables, and all of the napkins were suppossed to be folded on the table, not in the glasses. those were really minor things... but again they were overall all amazing. we have a low rating on responsiveness because we would send emails with questions to our catering manager and never hear anything back. we'd send the questions again a couple weeks later and still no response. we're talking MONTHS without responses back. we never had to plan a wedding before so we had lots of questions.... i guess since atlantic caterers do this numerous times a week they didnt want to bother dealing with us so far out of our event date. as we got to be 2 weeks out from the wedding we got immediate call backs/return emails. we were just always worried that we were kinda left in the cold sometimes. besides the lack of responses.... our overall impression with atlantic caterers was awesome. the wait staff rocked, the food was delicious and exactly what we ordered (for our seated dinner), and we were treated like a kind and queen the whole night. i would recommend atlantic caterers to anyone!
