Antrim 1844 Country House Hotel

Mike and his team went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. I don't have any regrets about choosing Antrim. Lots of guests came up and told us that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and I attribute that entirely to the staff at Antrim. Special shout-out to Janice, who was especially amazing and made sure we ate. :)

Antrim 1844 is the PERFECT place for a romantic, unique wedding. We had our ceremony and reception at Antrim in late October and could not have been more pleased. The service at Antrim is impeccable. Keith, the wedding coordinator, is simply amazing. He is straightforward, yet charming, and helps to ease the stress of wedding planning with his expertise. While planning a wedding can be overwhelming, I knew once I arrived for the weekend, that everything would be taken care of -- you and your husband-to-be are truly prince and princess of the weekend! He is there the entire day of your wedding and ensures that everything runs smoothly. It rained on our wedding day, and our ceremony had to be moved indoors. Keith took care of everything, and he and his staff turned the ceremony room into a romantic, candlelit haven. Also, the food -- it is out of this world. Our guests are STILL talking about how great the food was. Several have even made plans to go back for the weekend, just so they can have dinner!Antrim, and Keith, completely exceeded my expectations and helped to make the wedding of my dreams! I highly recommend.

The ceremony and reception set up was beautiful! They did all of that for us so I had no stress or worries. The location was gorgeous and my guests enjoyed the beautiful remote setting that was different from the typical beach-themed venue. I am looking forward to going back for our anniversary!Also, they provided us with a list of recommended vendors (cake, florist, photographer, etc.) and we took their recommendations and couldn't have been more please!

AMAZING!!!! We knew from our first visit we would have our wedding at Antrim. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the food is fantastic! Working with Keith was a dream, i don't know what i would have done without him. He will definitely make sure your wedding is everything you wanted and more. I think he checks the weather reports more than the brides do! It is a popular place, so book as soon as you can to get the date you want. Our wedding was perfect, and our guests still talk about how wonderful everything was! We can't wait to go back for our anniversary!

I have nothing but praise for my entire experience with Antrim 1844. Keith was a delight to work with, as were all of the other contacts made during our planning. The food was delicious and the reception was absolute perfection.

Antrim was the first place we visited when searching for a reception site, and we fell in love with it! We visited in the dead of winter, and even then the grounds were beautiful. We held our cocktail hour on the croquet lawn, and our reception in the pavillion. Everything looked beautiful, and Keith and his staff took care of every last detail. And the food was amazing! So many guests commented on how great it was. It may seem pricey compared to other venues in the area, but it is well worth the extra cost. Highly recommend!!

I first learned about Antrim 1844 in 2007 it won the "best of baltimore" award for outstanding wedding venue. After seeing pictures and reviewing the website my fiance and I decided to set up an appointment to take a look around. It was the 1st and only place we looked. As soon as we saw the AMAZING campus in person (this pictures on the website just can't capture all its charm) we knew we had a contender...however after sitting down with Keith, and hearing how helpful he was, we knew we had found the place we wanted to get married. The entire staff at the Antrim was exceptional. They bent over backwards to make sure our special day was exactly the way we wanted it to be. Keith returned all of my calls and emails within minuets most days. He answered questions, and more importantly offered excellent suggestions that improved our event. I used some of the vendors they recommended (Elaine Bryant, Harp Shadows and the beauty salon across the street, Designers Edge) and was blown away with the quality of service and the VALUE! Wedding planning can and will be very stressful, however the decades of experience that Keith and his staff at The Antrim provide really helped us relax and just enjoy the process. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a single thing. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food, the venue, and the amount of FUN they had at our wedding. The Antrim is a stunning location with a one of a kind staff. I would reccommend this venue to ANYONE. Do yourself a favor though and go see it in person before wasting your time visiting other venues. The pictures on the website simply don't and cannot capture its charm and the feeling you'll get when you arrive. Thank you Keith, Tracey, Michael, and the other Antrim staff members for making our wedding day so much more than either of us had ever even imagined.

this is an amazing venue for weddings. not only is it a beautiful setting but the services of the event planner, keith, were way above what anyone could expect. he anticipated everything and made everything happen just the way it should. the antrim mansion itself was available to reception guests after the ceremony and is absolutely gorgeous. the gardens are beautiful, the ceremony set-up was very simple & refined, and the dinner was the best. we had nothing but positive comments from the wedding guests. we would highly recommend the antrim for anyone considering a reception or, in our case, a ceremony/reception.

When we arrived at The Antrim to meet with their special events coordinator, Keith Jagdhuber, for the first time, we were initially impressed with the beautiful grounds, the varied facilities and the charming accommodations of The Antrim. As we continued to work with Keith and the other staff however, we were impressed again and again with their experience, overall flexibility, and sustained attention to everything from the preparation of mouth-watering rehearsal and reception menus, to the pairing of our entree selections with the appropriate wines, to the emphasis on ensuring that we, as well as our guests, were treated to an elegant and worry-free experience. We were also impressed with each of the additional vendors they were able to recommend (i.e., flowers, officiant), and the degree to which Keith and the rest of the Antrim staff gladly worked with our special requests, and the energy that went in to creating an altogether unforgettable wedding day.

Antrim is a great place to have a wedding! The setting is beautiful, the food is wonderful and the service is outstanding. The bonus is their event planner, Keith. He guides you through every step of the planning process and then on the day of the wedding does everything from pin on the flowers to tell the wedding party when to walk down the aisle. He even served as the MC at the reception. He took care of every detail and made sure that everything was perfect. We simply had to show up and enjoy the day. No worries! I can't imagine having a wedding without him. I would highly recommend Antrim! My only advice would be to trust Keith, relax and know that your wedding will be perfect!

The Antrim 1844 is the perfect setting to have a BEAUTIFUL reception -- you will have pictures and memories that warm your heart for a lifetime. The food, the wine, the hotel, the ballroom, the Pickwick Pub, the staff, and the blueberry muffins at breakfast are all exceptional...fantastic!!!! Add Keith (the wedding planner) and you can relax and enjoy the day as every bride and groom should. Whether you want a country wedding or royal wedding, The Antrim is the perfect location. This place is adorable and a wonderful experience.

This place is AMAZING. Not a single detail is overlooked. The staff could not be nicer, the place could not be more beautiful, and the wedding and reception could not have gone any smoother. For a simply flawless event with fabulous food, atmosphere and service, you must, must, must consider the Antrim.

The Antrim is a class act from start to finish. They are professional, warm, and treat you like Royalty. From the moment I began working with Keith Jadhuber, I felt completely confident that this wedding would be perfect. His enthusiam, responsiveness to my needs and concerns, as well as his patience with me is so appreciated, as I can get stressed out pretty quickly. The taste and quality of the food, as well as presentation was wonderful, and well worth the cost (which, compared to other venues, was a much better value.)

Worth every penny I spent. I did not have to worry about a thing, it was all done for me. Quality was spectacular. Staff, chef, wedding planner superb.

BEAUTIFUL!!! The Antrim was a great place to get married. The grounds are so pretty and there are rooms onsite for guests to stay, each room is just to amazing for words. The service was top notch, especially the wedding coordinator Keith, he really made our day perfect. It rained up until the ceremony which was to be outside, they quickly dried off the seats and set up in a matter of minutes. They made my day the best day of my life and I would highly suggest looking into having a wedding here. The food was also one of the best wedding meals I have ever had. Guests still today compliment on how great everything was.

The Antrim, 1844 & their wedding Coordinator, Keith were absolutely the best to work with. Keith was so helpful and so responsive, no matter how much I bugged him. His professionalism really shined thru as I had complete faith and trust in him throughout. On our wedding day, I didn't feel any stress, cause I knew he had everything under control so we could sit back, relax and seize the moment! Everyone raved about how wonderful the ceremony & reception were! The location & views were spectacular as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I could go on all day about how wonderful Antrim 1844 is. I would not change a thing about my wedding there. Everything was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful. I truly had the wedding I always dreamed of. Keith was a godsend. Everyone should have their wedding there!

Antrim 1844 is the most amazing and beautiul location for a wedding! The mansion is astounding beautiful, especially at Christmas, when I had my wedding. The food was 5 stars, and the service impeccable. Keith, the wedding coordinator, was incredibly attentive and thorough, and the entire event went like clock-work!
