I knew we found our florist as soon as we met Amanda, the owner. Admittedly, my floral inspirations/ideas were all over the place and Amanda helped me find a unifying theme. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were beautiful. The pew end decorations were simply lovely. And, our centerpieces were PERFECT! They were EXACTLY how I envisioned them. The prices were very reasonable and we definitely came under budget in that area--a very pleasant surprise!

She's part of the A-Team list from the Vandiver...and there's a reason - she does an amazing job. I had an idea of what I wanted when I walked in, but no clue what I was doing...Amanda sat down with us and handed us the books of examples. Of course, after looking through all the images, I went back to the beginning because that's just the nature of life. What was a simple black-and-white (with a pop-of-colored accents) wedding...Amanda made elegant! I had a retro-look and wanted black and white flowers. She made all my ideas a gorgeous reality and the rainbow petals leading up the aisle really brought everything together.

Where do I begin and why can I not give more than 5 stars? I have been in the wedding industry for around a decade, from catering, to banquet managing, to my current position as a wedding coordinator, and I plan nearly 100 weddings a year. I chose Amanda's Florist simply because she is the Best! The best in quality and honesty! My wedding was December 10th and my wedding flowers lasted until almost Christmas!!!! When I walked into Amanda's sop with my Mother, Mother N Law, and some of my Brides Maids I thought I new what I wanted, something simply and small, but let's face it, I am a Cajun and we are loud people, so to have simple flowers, would not be me at all! So, I put my faith fully in Amanda and was not disappointed! The fact that I was getting married did not hit me until the day of my wedding when Amanda walked in and handed me my flowers!!! I could not stop crying! They were perfect! Better than I had imagined! And the centerpieces, PERFECT!!! My family and I are from New Orleans, so we had to have a Mardi Gras themed wedding :) Amanda designed the most beautiful center pieces! Hurricane glasses with Mardi Gras beads coming out and LED lights inside to make them shine ( and those were just for the cocktail tables!) The centerpieces for the larger tables were larger cylinder vases with more Beads and water on top of an LED light. PERFECT!!! It was better than a dream come true! Amanda was fantastic to work with. She was extremely helpful as she was willing to do whatever we wanted, but very upfront with us so we knew what to expect. She encouraged me to come in a couple days before the wedding so I could see first hand how the colors came together and then was able to make minor adjustments to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Amanda even worked with me to cut a piece from my late mother's wedding dress to use as a tie for my bridal bouquet which turned out even better than I had imagined and brought quite a few happy tears from family and friends who saw it. Everything stayed together beautifully and we couldn't have been happier with the flowers.

Amanda's Florist did a great job with my flowers for my wedding. The bridal party's bouquets were exactly what I hoped they would be. Amanda's attention to detail truly shines through her creations. The flowers coordinated wonderfully with my wedding colors and I could not have been more pleased.

Amanda and her team were AMAZING. I was on a budget and had no idea what I wanted!! When I met with her 5 months before my wedding, I gave her the colors I was interested in and the budget I wanted to stick with. She came up with a lot of ideas on what we could use for the bouqeuts. I was finally able to make a decision with Amandas assistance. A few days before the wedding we had to make the decision to move the wedding up a few hours due to hurricane Irene :( Amanda was able to get the flowers delivered 4 hours earlier than planned, with only a few days notice. When the flowers were delivered they were on time and beautiful! I would highly recomend Amandas Florist for your wedding!!

Amanda's was recommended to me by the wedding coordinator for Vandiver Inn, and I can see why they continue to tell brides about this location. I will say that I had every intention of doing my own floral arrangements, at least for the centerpieces, to save money. However, after some price quotes, if you are looking to do flowers with several types of blooms, a florist is by far your best bet. With that in mind, I went to Amanda's with a fairly rigid budget for flowers. She didn't bat an eye with what I thought was a pretty low number to be spending on flowers, and quickly brought out books and magazines to get an idea of which flowers I liked, and why. She was very upfront about the flowers we could not use, and not just for cost reasons: she will not risk using out of season blooms if there is a risk that they will look bad. She came up with the cutest idea for bridesmaid bouquets, and my bridal bouquet was absolutely elegant! She also deserves praise for her patience: I had no, absolutely no idea what I wanted to do for centerpieces other than how much I wanted to spend on them. She came up with several ideas, and emailed them to me. She seems to be used to brides who have a better idea of what they want, but was very accommodating to me and my complete befuddlement. In the end, she came up with lovely, elegant centerpieces. Amanda is worth every penny, and was able to make me feel confident in our choices despite being too far away to come in to see them until a few days prior.

Amanda is a florist who provided much more than gorgeous flowers for my wedding day. She put her heart and soul into every arrangement, and despite changing my mind throughout the wedding planning process, she remained determined to help find AND create my vision. Amanda is the creme de la creme of florists! I've worked with hundreds of florist back in NYC and I wish I could take her back to my hometown and show some people a thing or two! I loved Amanda when I first met her. She understood my vision immediately after we sat down and chatted for a while. My vision was 'simple elegance' and she captured the theme. I can't tell you how much I appreciate her quick reply to my emails and phone calls. She made me feel like I was her only client. I will use Amanda for all my special occasion needs. Amanda and her team did a fantastic job on my flowers! When I went in for our first consultation I didn't have a very clear vision of what I wanted. After describing my dress and theme she helped me decide on what I wanted. My bouquet was stunning as were the numerous arrangements made to decorate the ceremony, cocktail area, bathrooms, front door, and reception areas. Plus she and her team were professional and friendly throughout the entire process. My sincerest thanks!

Throughout the wedding planning, we were indecisive about the need for flowers. About two weeks before the wedding I decided I didn't want to walk down the aisle empty handed, so I scheduled an appointment with Amanda. She was quite busy, but squeezed me into her schedule at an time convenient for myself and my daughter. Due to her schedule, we did not have a lot of time, but it was an easy process and I never felt rushed. Right away she understood the style of our wedding and guided us along the way of choosing bouquets, boutineers, a mother's corsage, and bulk flowers so we could make our own centerpieces. Her design taste is flawless. She delivered the bulk flowers early in the afternoon to give me time to make the arrangements, and then the bouquets and other flowers were delivered right before the ceremony so that they stayed fresh. They were all gorgeous.

Amanda's Florist was the perfect choice for my wedding. I have very eclectic tastes and didn't have a true vision as to what I wanted my flowers to say. With Amanda's patience, creativity she was able to help me find the perfect flowers that were really "me." Amanda is very organized and professional and wonderful to work with. The flowers, what can I say, they were gorgeous!!! I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Amanda's Florist was the perfect decision for our wedding flowers. Amanda was considerate, helpful, professional and very creative. She took our incredibly scattered ideas about flowers and made them into something really lovely. Everything was delivered on time and looked beautiful. Amanda was available before the wedding for a couple of phone calls when we had some changes in our projected number of centerpieces, and she was kind enough to give us a heads up about the availability of some of the flowers we'd chosen in advance of the wedding. She even threw in a few nice extras without charging us. She was easy to work with and a dream for my husband and I, who didn't have things all figured out in advance. I couldn't recommend Amanda's Florist more highly.

Amanda's florist was great. Amanda was very friendly and patient during my consult. She took lots of time with me to figure out exactly what I wanted. I had tons of questions throughout the last few months and was constantly emailing and tweaking. Amanda and her staff were always quick to respond and very accomodating. Amanda's Florist was exactly what I was looking for! They were professional, affordable, accommodating - an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a very small wedding with simple centerpieces each consisting of 2 dozen peach roses. They were absolutely breathtaking, Amanda listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted (down to the 4" cube vases). She made an awesome bouquet for me with white and peach roses and accents of blue hydrangea. It was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Amanda was so thoughtful, she personally delivered the flowers to me and made sure I was happy with them. If you are getting married in the Havre de Grace area I highly recommend using Amanda's Florist, you will not be disappointed. Amanda was phenomenal! I live 2 hours away from Havre de Grace so we had to make most decisions by phone. She spent time showing me photos over the internet and really took the time to understand what I wanted. She asked me to come by the shop the day before the wedding just to make sure that I was completely satisfied and even accommodated my last minute changes at that time. All in all the flowers were beautiful and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone else looking for a wedding florist. Thanks Amanda!

Amanda went above and beyond! I'm not one that knows a whole lot of flowers, so I gave her a few photo ideas and let her create something...everything was BEAUTiFUL!! All of the bridesmaids were in love with their bouquets. We did have a few unique touches that needed her assistance, but she was on board 100% and helped me to make vision possible.
