Jami G. and the entire staff at Absolute Entertainment were amazing from start to finish! They really gave us a feel for exactly how our day would sound with a personalized demonstration meeting at their offices, playing examples of all of our favorite requested wedding tracks to really get us in the mood to celebrate our day! Their contracts were straightforward and easy to work with... they offer many different tiers of pricing to accommodate many budgets and needs, and offer a great value for their level of expertise! Their planning websites make setting up your day SO easy and convenient... you can work from home to set up anything from your timeline of events, music requests for your special dances of the evening, guest music requests, bridal party introductions, and more! They were always quick and helpful to answer any questions we had, extremely accommodating with meeting times, and most importantly, gave us a beautifully run wedding reception! Jami worked with us perfectly to recommend songs and ways to set the mood for a romantic and beautiful and FUN and energizing party! We hardly had to do any work at all, she was great enough at her job to take our few music requests and then use them with her own expertise to pick our the perfect mix of music for our evening to please ALL our guests, young and old. She had the perfect level of MC'ing during our events so our guests could easily follow along our events for the night, while really keeping the party flowing with great music! We had compliments all night on the great time everyone was having on the dancefloor! We are so pleased with their service and would 100% recommend all the staff at Absolute Entertainment for any event!!

Jason Wallace with Absolute was fantastic. In our first meeting, he quickly pinpointed our style of music for every aspect of the reception and performed a demo that had me extremely excited for our wedding reception. He was professional and flexible, willing to do phone meetings since meeting in person would have meant me traveling over an hour just to confirm everything. He was easy to work with and fun. People who weren't at the wedding that see our pictures comment that it looked like everyone was having a blast, and this was due in large part to Jason. He was able to read the crowd while still sticking to our music preferences (which included somewhat unusual requests/prefrences such as instrumental Disney music and country). If you want your guests to have a good time while having the music still reflect your personality, hire Jason, he's well worth every penny.

My wedding was more than a month ago and the music is still being talked about. John Paul Berry did an amazing job on the music and is so talented at what he does. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a DJ. Absolute Entertainment is the BEST!

Jason Wallace was recommended to us and from the first contact we knew AE and Jason were the right choice.The first meeting Jason was able to ask us basic questions about our music taste and then within 15 minutes played us a demo in the studio of how he would mix the music. We used John Paul Berry for our wedding on 11/12/11! I was sold on him after hearing the in studio demo! I can't say enough good things about him! The absolute best wedding DJ I have ever heard (and I have been to a tonnnn of weddings)! We received sooooooo many compliments on him! The dance floor was full the whole entire night! Even those people who I expected to be sitting in the corner the whole time (my grandma) were partying on the dance floor. We gave JP a play list with about 15 songs and a do not play list which he stuck to! He played a great mix of songs for all ages! Not only is John Paul have a great professional attitude, his personality is fabulous! Many people underestimate the importance of a good DJ. I have been to many weddings and if the DJ stinks so does the wedding. It changes the whole feel of the night! I can't thank JPB enough for his talent and professionalism!

Going into the process, my now husband and I were ALL of the place regarding music for our wedding, but Gordon reigned us in and was able to provide a demo that suited both of our tastes to a tee. During the months preceding our wedding, Gordon provided quick e-correspondence to our many questions. And during the evening of the wedding, he enhanced our beautiful reception with purple uplighting to match our wedding theme! Additionally, he followed the will of the crowd and made any adjustments to keep guests on the dance floor! Best. DJ. Ever. John Paul Berry absolutely rocked our October 29, 2011, wedding. He managed to play almost everything we asked for, avoided everything we didn't want, and had the crowd on its feet dancing the entire night. After the wedding, the one comment we heard most often was how great John Paul was. Even more importantly, though, we had a family emergency just before the wedding and John Paul (and others at Absolute Entertainment) worked with us to Skype our ceremony live to guests in Chicago who weren't able to travel -- their kindness and flexibility really made the wedding for us. We cannot recommend them enough.

Absolute Entertainment is a fabulous DJ vendor to work with! We knew they were the perfect choice right from the inital consultation. Ken met with us and went over our options and gave us an awesome demo based on our taste in music. We were impressed with his demo, but even more impressed with the value for their service! We were expecting the cost to be much more than we were quoted, but were very pleasantly surprised! Jami was our DJ and she did an AMAZING job! She was very responsive during the planning process and was very flexible with last minute changes. Many of our guests commented on her great selection of music that kept people dancing all night! Brian was a great DJ. The dance floor was packed all night and the entire night ran very smoothly. He made sure everything we asked for was played at our wedding down to the very specific versions of classical music. We got nothing but compliments from our guest about how amazing our DJ was. I could not be happier with my choice in DJ!

Absolute Entertainment has been great from the beginning. From the intial consult, to demos, and even was willing to let my now husband test his keyboard with their equipment (he chickened out of playing his keyboard in the end lol). After looking over the bios per their recommendation at the consult, we chose Gordon as our DJ. He was absolutely awesome! We told him we didn't care if anyone danced or not because it was our day and we'd be on the dancefloor. He MC'd our wedding and kept everything on tract even though we were delayed. He constantly checked in to make sure we were ready to move on to the next thing and even made recommendations that made things ever better! He did such an awesome job that everyone wanted to know who he was and what DJ company he was with. We were so happy to have him be a part of our big day. Not to mention, the demos with him were always so much fun! We always felt like dancing when we listened to his music. He has fantastic mixes and remixes also!! Couldn't have asked for more. I HIGHLY recommend Gordon and Absolute Entertainment. If we have any other invents, we already know who we're calling!

Absolute Entertainment does an initial interview where they determine what the style of your wedding is, as well as what you are looking for in a DJ. After our initial demonstration, my (now) husband and I were matched with Morgan Williams. I contacted Morgan a few weeks later just to touch base and we set up a meeting at Absolute Entertainment. He was extremely thorough, but laid back about the entire process. I told him what types of music I liked, but emphasized that the most important thing to me was that everyone danced and had a good time. The day of the wedding, he absolutely nailed it! He was everything I had hoped for, but better. He had a great demeanor and set the perfect tone for the evening - our guests were still raving about him when we got back from our honeymoon!I can't speak to every DJ with Absolute Entertainment, but Morgan was hands down the best DJ I have ever worked with.

Music and finding the right DJ for our wedding was very important to my husband and me, and I am happy to say that Absolute Entertainment, and specifically DJ Gordon Thorn, was the perfect choice for us! I really liked the fact that I was able to interview with them at their offices/studios, and I was able to get a demonstration on how our reception could go. All of the DJs I met that day had wonderful, easy-going, friendly personalities, and I really enjoyed the connection I made with DJ Gordon Thorn. (Not to mention, the staff at my reception site, the Intercontinental Harbor Court Hotel, had raved about him as well!)The week before our wedding, I had one more wonderful face to face meeting with Gordon, where he went over everything from name pronunciations, to the order of the evening, to versions of our various songs. I knew that we were going to be in good hands with Absolute Entertainment and DJ Gordon Thorn!I am thrilled to say that I was right! Everything was perfect! Gordon was set up, dressed to the nines, and ready to go! He introduced himself to our wedding party, was friendly with all of my guests and the staff as well, kept the reception moving along, worked really hard, and most importantly, he helped give us the party of our lives! At the end of the night, we took a great photo with Gordon, my husband, and myself, and then Gordon gifted us with a CD featuring some of the songs that he had played throughout the night! If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely stick with Absolute Entertainment and DJ Gordon Thorn!!!

Jason Wallace and Absolute Entertainment both deserve their outstanding reputation! Absolute Entertainment was recommended to us by pretty much everyone that we know who has gotten married in this area. We learned at our first meeting that we could book Jason (who we had not heard of, but we were told that he was "the best") or choose from a number of their other DJs who sort of specialize in various things. We decided to spend a little extra money and book Jason, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Jason was absolutely professional throughout the entire process, responding to emails almost immediately (even to just say "got it!" which is so reassuring when you are planning a wedding and trying not to go insane) and meeting with us a few times to make sure that we would be happy with the music played throughout the evening. We are both sort of music snobs, and we wanted what I would consider some pretty specific songs and types of music played during the cocktail hour and during dinner, with some trendier but still somewhat eclectic stuff played during the dancing. Absolute Entertainment has a neat online database that you can use to list songs that you want to hear or definitely don't want to hear, but we made our own lists and Jason was cool with that- in fact he seemed excited that we were so into it. He has a huge library of music, of course, and had great ideas and suggestions that fit well with our style. Many of our friends commented that the music was great and that they could really tell by listening to the selections that they were at our wedding. And when it came to the dancing, he had a sense of what to play and the dance floor was full all night- which was one of the things that I most hoped would happen at our wedding. It was an amazing party.I have been to so many weddings with terrible DJs... I am so glad we chose Absolute Entertainment and Jason Wallace! They are truly fantastic and just great to work with.

Chris Uhl did a wonderful job for our wedding at Tabrizi's in Baltimore. Our wedding was roughly 130 people, split evenly between older and younger, and the dance floor was packed for the entire reception. Chris looks young, but is very talented and professional.Absolute Entertainment was easy to work with from the very beginning. Ken and John Paul were very welcoming, and made sure all of our questions were answered promptly. They even did an in-house demonstration for us based on our suggestions. Once we settled on Chris Uhl as our DJ, he worked with us to customize the playlist to music we wanted to hear. We aren't huge music people, but mostly knew what kind of music we didn't want (i.e. songs you hear at every wedding). Chris took our limited input and created a fantastic playlist that worked for our parents and friends. He found some beautiful string music to play for our ceremony, and crafted a great playlist for the background music at our cocktail hour and dinner. We wanted to avoid an empty dance floor, and Chris did a great job of getting people energized and out dancing. He played music that appealed to all age groups, and we had young people dancing to Motown and our parents dancing to Kayne West. Anytime someone made a request, Chris would track down one of us at the reception to make sure it was okay to play. So many people have told us how much fun they had at our reception, and how they couldn't remember the last time they danced that much. I attribute this to Chris Uhl and Absolute Entertainment and the wonderful job they did. We highly recommend working with them.

Our DJ was JP and he was fantastic! My husband was his main contact and he was in constant communication with him. We did mostly email, but JP would always respond very quickly. The website they have to help you plan out all of your playlists was pretty helpful when it came to brainstorming, but I found it restrictive. I decided to make up my own packet of all the music we wanted. It was extremely over the top, but JP rolled with it and gave us exactly what we wanted. He also did a follow-up for the packet a few days before the wedding to make sure he understood exactly what we were going for. We also had one of our bridesmaids sing our first dance song with another one of our friends playing the guitar. JP offered to do a sound check with both of them before the ceremony to make sure everything ran smoothly. A wedding reception is nothing without music and JP delivered. I highly recommend Absolute Entertainment. Go with JP and you will not be disappointed!

While on the dance floor, we started getting compliments about our DJ, Jami. Who compliments the DJ??? You expect guests to tell us about the food and decor, but to hear kudos about the DJ is pretty exceptional. After providing just a few songs and examples of the music we like, Jami immediately understood what we wanted at our reception and simply nailed our tastes to a T. She was professional, caring, and made sure she pronounced everyone's names correctly before announcing us. She stayed loyal to our schedule, but was very respectful when we would request to delay a couple more minutes if we needed to harness guests for the cake cutting or first dances.At one point in the evening, I went up to Jami to tell her I particularly liked one of the songs she was playing, and later that night, I saw that she had emailed me the song.The biggest surprise was at the end, when she handed me a CD of the songs we used for the reception; a sort of soundtrack to the evening. It has been so nice to play it and reminisce about things. I don't know if she does that for every couple, which made us feel all the more special and cared for.We got way more than was expected at an extremely reasonable rate. Without a doubt, book this company.

We had Jason Wallace as our DJ, and he is more than amazing. I really don't think I can say enough good things about him. We chose to book him after experiencing his work at my sister's wedding. My husband and I are at complete opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to music, and Jason found a way to to combine everything together to make it work as one celebration. He blew us away with his talent. Jason really made our wedding a blast, and the dance floor never cleared. Not only did he provide more than excellent service as a DJ, he also was very personable and truly cared about us as a couple. He even came to our sweet heart table at the start of dinner to make sure we had wine! Book Jason or Absolute Entertainment, trust me!!
