MG Beauty, LLC

The owner, "MG" has been a licensed make up artist since 1995. She is a graduate of Morgan State University.   She started her professional career with Christian Dior Parfums.  She continued to work in various beauty specialty stores building her knowledge of brands including Prescriptives, Fashion Fair, IMAN and many others.  MG soon branched out as a freelance makeup artist working for M.A.C. Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Christian Dior, Lancome and photographers such as the award winning Roy Cox and Reggie Anderson. 

 

With a strong desire to continue her studies, MG went on to obtain her Cosmetology license.  Since that time, MG has worked with Fox News, BET, Rap Pages Magazine, Neo Soul Group Kindred, Style Q Hair Magazine, Pink Kitty Studios, Sophisticates Hair Styling Guide and Hanes/Playtex.  MG was a featured make up artist at DC Fashion Week, Baltimore Fashion Week, For Sista’s Only, Sensationnel’s Hair Idol competition and a Resident Artist for Nordstrom.  MG was also one of the make up artist winners at the Golden Scissors Awards in 2007.
